Crumbach and Mr. Crazy Chicken is a fun and imaginative ride that had me smiling the whole way through. Phoebe and her classmates go on a magical journey full of oddball characters and unexpected lessons, and I loved how the story gently encouraged bravery, kindness, and creativity. Every page felt like a surprise, and I honestly enjoyed reading it just as much as my niece did—it’s one of those books that reminds you how magical a child’s imagination can be.

Okay, I was not ready for a chicken obsessed with brownies, a grumpy tiger, and a mouse who might just take over the world—but I am so here for it. 🐔🍫💥 This book is wild, wacky, and full of heart in the best way possible. Phoebe’s adventure is pure chaos in the funnest way, with every page delivering a new surprise or giggle. If your kid loves wacky humor, big imaginations, and stories where teamwork totally saves the day—get this book like yesterday. 📚🎉🐭

Wacky adventures, wise lessons, and one wildly unpredictable chicken.

Crumbach and Mr. Crazy Chicken is a laugh-out-loud, wild ride through a world where imagination rules, chickens crave brownies, and kindness is the real superpower—count me in for story time, every time.

This book was one that allowed my little one to read a few words and listen on. It was a definite book to have the imagination tested as Crumbach, the tiny elf, runs riot in the school and talks about the adventures to be had and the magic that is done. The chapters end with questions for the children to answer, with a good picture to look at to help sometimes. The book was a fun read with a few madcap issues and bumps going on, there was no easy tale and so my little one really did have free rein to answer the questions the book asks in as daft a way as they wanted which was great. We read the book over several evenings as we really did spend time talking through what might have happened when Crumbach went missing and what our rescue plans might be.
