Description
For nearly ten years, Noah Carter has kept his head down on the family ranch, determined to leave behind the chaotic aftermath of the band he formed with his five brothers. The days of sold-out stadiums and screaming fans feel like a long-distant nightmare…
Quick with a smile and quicker with an opinion, new waitress Ren never planned to stay in Autumn Falls but the not-so-shy newcomer isn't afraid to help when Noah’s cattle drive needs a new rider.
As days in the saddle turn into nights under the stars, the tension between Noah and Ren sparks hotter than their crackling campfire. But with secrets and old wounds between them, and the legacy of a fame Noah can’t seem to outrun, can they both decide whether to stop running?
Silver Sky is a love story of second chances, stubborn pride and the unexpected ways love finds us when we least expect it.

I enjoyed the first book in the series and Silver Sky certainly didn't disappoint. I loved the story, which was easy to follow and well written, had good pacing and a great cast of characters. I can't recommend it enough. I look forward to reading more by the author.
💝 Thank you to Netgalley, one more chapter and the author for my arc ebook copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely loved the first book in this series and was so excited to see the new installment. I loved Noah & Ren and thought they had beautiful chemistry together: I highly enjoyed this heartfelt ranch romance and I know readers will as well
Silver Sky absolutely stole my heart — I loved this one way more than the first book in the series!
This story follows Noah Carter, one of Logan’s brothers from book one, and my gosh… he is the definition of a grump (and I love a good grump). After years of keeping his head down and hiding from the chaos of his old life, Noah’s world gets turned upside down by Ren, a quick-witted, big-hearted waitress who’s definitely not afraid to challenge him. Their dynamic had me hooked from the start.
What I adored most was watching Noah’s journey of self-discovery unfold alongside Ren’s own healing. The emotional weight in this story felt real, but it was beautifully balanced with warmth, slow-burn tension, and moments that made me smile like an idiot. And yes... this one even includes a twist on one of my favourite tropes: only one sleeping bag in the tent 😉
Silver Sky is an emotional, rewarding, and deeply satisfying read about second chances, pride, and finding love when you least expect it. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the Carter family has in store , this series just keeps getting better.
P.S - this is a closed door romance, no on page spice but plenty of TENSION.

i loved this book with my whole heart. i dont know what authors sprinkle through these books that make our tummys ache in both good and agonising ways, haha. the love, the way we come to care for that love so we are actually nervous they will or wont make it. they've got to be together surely. and then your are in, your are there for the whole journey and you cant look away but dont want to. you want to capture every line and some lines you go back and read. you want to turn down corner and underline certain points. this is one of those books that take the old cynics even like me to a hopeful, full moments of love. all the ways these books connect to us is down to the magic of wonderful authors like Taylor.
Ren and Noah both want peace in their own way. Ren came here looking for that feeling of settled. but she didn't anticipate offering to help at a ranch. she certainly didn't anticipate Noah.
Noah needs his own refuge and he found it. away from the past and the life his old stardom got him into hes not got his job, his life and thats all he wants. he didn't count on the skip Ren does on his heart and the leap he creates in his hope for something more.
the interactions from these two made me do those big grins from the start. it had all those fizzy moments but then you see it grow, you catch those more deeper moments and you are there alongside them as they become something so so so much more.
they've both got something to heal from. they both need to find a home within location but also within themselves. but could they also find one in each other?
these two find love when they least expect and thought they least wanted it. but that doesn't have to mean its not the perfect time for it, for them both. and yes you two it is!
this book had so much reach for me. you not only have the love and romance but you've got the love of the brothers. you've got those deeper moments for our main characters but also how it weaves around where they've come from and been through. because those moments you see how it truly effected them and caused faults in family and their beliefs in happiness.
this is a special series and i cant wait for what Taylor might come with next.

This story is amazing, I read this in one sitting.
There was so much emotional depth and no spice which made this book amazing because we could see the growth of the main characters really well. Seeing Noah and Ren making their way through their journey was amazing. There was no miscommunication or secrets, no unnecesery drama. It was perfect. Noah's past and feelings were really complicated but he grew so much in this book and had such a great character development and that was enjoyable to read about. Ren's story line with growing up without a family was heartbreaking but through the story we learn how strong she is and her advice is always wise. She made everyone's life happier when she joined the family of Noah but also the community of the town.
This was well written and I would recommend it.

Guys, I loved this! 😍 Noah Carter is back in his small-town life, trying to outrun his music-star past, and Ren’s spunky, fresh energy makes sparks fly. The slow-burn chemistry, starlit ranch scenes, and second-chance romance had me swooning the whole way.
It’s part of the Carter Brothers series, so if you’ve read Autumn Falls, even better. Tropey? Yes. But done so well. Cozy, flirty, and heartwarming — exactly what I needed.
Rating: 4.5/5 ⭐ — swoon-worthy, slow-burn romance perfection.

This sequel comes hot off the heels of the digital release of book 1 , Autumn Falls. This is Noah's story and follows him being confronted with ghosts of his past as well as a mischievous new addition to the town, Ren. I won't go too much into their story as it'll spoil the plot but needless to say Noah has to combat his stubbornness and his demons to see what truly matters and Ren goes on a similar journey.
Much like autumn falls, this was a superbly written book with a huge amount of male emotional insight. It was well paced and made me cry more than once. Which is a sign of a well written book. It has the small town charm and really immerses you in the family and the situation throughout.
I cannot wait for the next one and I'm going to make a rare decision to buy physical copies of the series before it's finished as I have that much faith in it!
I truly feel this series is going to be a new big hit!
