Description
Diary of a Wimpy Kid collides with My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
Wini thought she’d party away the summer with her friends—until her stepbrother decided to tie the knot in Malegonia, a tiny, nearly un-Googleable Balkan country. Now, she’s stuck on a whirlwind trip with her quirky relatives, navigating everything from language mishaps to wedding day disasters. As chaos and confusion unfold, Wini quickly learns that surviving the Balkans—and her family—might just take more than a sense of humor. Full of laugh-out-loud moments and surprising heart, this is a story you’ll cherish forever.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and think it was excellently done.

This is a fast-paced, delightful light-hearted story full of humorous moments. As someone who also has experience of the Balkans, the culture described rang true and was not at all far-fetched. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.

This book was such a pleasant surprise. It flows really well — fast-paced and never dull. I actually enjoyed every part of it. What I liked most is that, beyond being an easy and fun read, it also carries a really beautiful message. Definitely worth reading.

This story is delightful. It is about family and is written with a sense of humor. It is also written with a sense of reality about family interactions. The fact that Will married someone from a country no one knew anything about adds another layer of complexity. But it is a small world and to remind us of that is invaluable. The story ends with such a good lesson in how families interact in good ways but also very human ways. But in the end it shows what families can and should mean to each other. It is a very easy read and kept my attention. I am very honored that I have gotten to read it before it is officially on the shelves. I highly recommend it.
