**ALL first edition hardback copies feature beautiful sprayed edges – available while stock lasts**
The Sunday Times bestselling author of Beautiful Ugly is back with a psychological masterpiece that will leave you questioning everything you know about love, identity and revenge.
Eden Fox, an artist on the brink of her big break, sets off for a run before her first exhibition. When she returns to the home she recently moved into – Spyglass, an enchanting old house in the pretty seaside village of Hope Falls – nothing is as it should be. Her key doesn’t fit. A woman, eerily similar to her, answers the door. And her husband insists that this stranger is his wife.
One house. One husband. Two women. Someone is lying.
Six months earlier, a reclusive Londoner named Birdy, reeling from a life-changing diagnosis, inherits Spyglass. This unexpected gift from a long-lost grandmother brings her to Hope Falls. But then Birdy stumbles upon a shadowy London clinic that claims to be able to predict a person’s date of death, including her own. Secrets start to unravel and, as the line between truth and lies blurs, Birdy feels compelled to right some old wrongs.
My Husband’s Wife weaves a tangled web of deception, obsession and mystery that will keep you guessing until the last page. Prepare yourself for the ultimate mind-bending marriage thriller and step inside Spyglass – if you dare – to experience a story where nothing is as it seems.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy of My Husband's Wife in exchange of my honest opinion.
This book blew my mind!! I loved it from the start to the last line and I am still thinking about it.
I had no idea what I was reading, who to trust, who to believe, what to think about the characters. I knew they all were keeping secrets from each other bu not to that extent.
I enjoyed Alice's writing style a lot. It made it so easy to follow and very intriguing.
I loved Birdy very much and I sympathized with her, so I was NOT expecting her secret to be that BIG at all...
All in all, a 5 start book for me!
Thank you very much!
This book was such a page-turner. I was hooked from the start and especially enjoyed Birdy as a character. After sleeping on it, I realised how cleverly the ending was put together. The final twist was one of those surprises you don’t see coming at all. It was my first Alice Feeney novel, and now I definitely want to read more of her work. A very entertaining read that I would happily recommend.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to read an ARC of this book
OMG where to start with this AMAZING book. What a rollercoaster ride of a read full of twists and turns you don’t see coming. For me this is Alice Feeney at her best. I’ve read them all but this one blew my mind! Only pick this book up if you have nothing pressing to do as you won’t be able to put it down until the final page.
A big thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the ARC in return for a honest review.
I honestly have no words... because I'm completely shell-shocked by the ending. And yet, here I am with so many words! Alice Feeney is truly a master of her craft. She has a rare talent for crafting characters with intentions you never see coming, and her 2026 novel My Husband's Wife is no exception.
Alice Feeney is a master manipulator when it comes to her readers, and I dare say she got me good. I would easily rank this one in my top three Feeney novels, alongside Sometimes I Lie and Daisy Darker. If you love twisting, turn-the-pages-late-into-the-night thrillers, this one is an absolute must-read.
Gripping from the very first page—twists kept coming relentlessly, tension never let up for a second. Stayed up all night turning pages frantically 😂

When I received a copy of Alice Feeney’s upcoming thriller, ‘My Husband’s Wife’ I was thrilled. I have loved all of Alice Feeney’s books and knew that I was in for a ride. This one follows the story of Eden Fox who is running on the Cornish coast of Hope Falls before her first art exhibition. She thinks about what the evening will have in store for her and returning to the house she has recently moved into her key will not turn. When a woman resembling her opens the door she is baffled. Add to this the fact that her husband appears behind the woman claiming that he doesn’t know who is at the door and that the woman stood in the house is actually Eden Fox this blew my mind. Written with Feeney’s amazing style, slowly peeling back the layers, I had to keep turning the pages and got through it in no time at all. Twists and turns aplenty. I kept on imagining this on the screen and how it really plays with your mind. Cannot wait to see how this is received in January. It is the perfect thriller to keep you guessing and if you like books which literally have you on the edge of your seat, this is the one for you.
