Description
The acclaimed superhero saga of Quincredible reaches its apex in a powerful new graphic novel reuniting Eisner Award-nominated series creator/writer Rodney Barnes (Killadelphia) and powerhouse artist Selina Espiritu (Critical Role) for a riveting new adventure featuring everyone’s favorite indestructible teen hero!
“Sometimes it’s hard to keep fighting when the world doesn’t give you a reason to believe it’s going to change for the better.” Being a teenager is hard enough, but being a newly minted superhero in a world where the bad guys hide in plain sight and manipulate the system to their own selfish ends with no consequences, is perplexing—and scary! But when the going gets tough, the tough have to get SMART! Which is exactly what Quinton West is learning as he continues to try to find his superhero voice to go along with his powers of invulnerability to help his beloved community in the city he calls home: New Orleans!

Quincredible is the super hero all teens need, forget just teens, all people need! Rodney Barnes creates a story that covers unlimited examples of how to fight social injustice. Quincredible: A Better World touches upon the importance of environmental health and consideration, ecological racism, bullying, police brutality, responsibility, and so much more. Quin is a role model who gives teens an opportunity to see how they can make a positive impact in the world around them even without having super powers. This graphic novel is rich with detailed art, heart, and action so much so that it practically is bursting from the confines of the 135 pages. I hope that Quin continues to teach teens how to be incredible in their community!
