Description
Fayman Preparatory School is renowned for its rigorous academic standards and enigmatic history. The school is overseen by five influential board members who maintain a strong presence within the institution. Each year, these board members vow to only release the most outstanding and deserving students into the world, raising questions about the fate of those deemed unsuitable.
Among the students attending Fayman is Marie DeBlanc, a 16-year-old orphan, along with five other orphans. Due to their academic performance, they are mandated to attend summer school. When Marie requests access to her records to verify this decision, she encounters an unexpected denial. As they stay behind for the summer, they are introduced to six new teachers who exude an air of peculiarity. As the summer progresses, unforeseen events and enigmatic occurrences unfold, thrusting Marie and her friends into a confrontation with the lurking darkness surrounding the school and the influence of the school board.
What happens to students who are deemed unfit? What secrets does Fayman Preparatory School have, and what do the oaths mean? What will become of Marie and her friends in summer school? What happens next?

Fayman Preparatory School is a dark and suspenseful dive into secrets, power, and the thin line between tradition and horror. Sixteen-year-old Marie DeBlanc and her fellow orphans face a summer that begins with routine summer school but spirals into eerie mysteries and chilling confrontations with the sinister influence of the school board. What hooked me most was the way the story built tension little by little, pulling me into the shadowy corridors of the school until I couldn’t put it down. I enjoyed how the book blended psychological suspense with moments of genuine horror—it left me thinking about it long after I turned the last page.

What kind of prep school makes you more afraid of surviving than passing finals? This one. From page one, Fayman Preparatory School had me clutching my imaginary hall pass like it was a weapon. Creepy teachers, board members with way too many secrets, and a group of kids just trying to survive a “summer school” straight from nightmares—I ate this story up like popcorn at a midnight horror flick. If you’re ready for goosebumps, secrets, and a thrill ride that’ll have you side-eyeing your old school yearbook, grab this book now! 🎒👻
