Adventures with Nash Dog is such an adorable and heartwarming read! As a dog lover, this book completely melted my heart. Nash’s voice throughout the story is just the sweetest.
The story perfectly captures the bond between a dog and their humans, making it impossible not to smile the whole way through. The illustrations are vibrant and full of life, perfectly matching Nash’s personality and the sense of adventure in every page.

I sat down with my son and read this one today and it was a delight!
I loved that it was from the dogs point of view - it made it especially cute! Big fan of adopt don’t shop too!!!

This is one sweet and feel good book for kids on adopting a dog. This will really work for kids who adopted or planning to adopt a dog because its so relatable. The artwork adds the vibrancy of the book.

My son has always wanted a dog as a pet, but our living arrangement still does not allow us to have one. If one day we are ready to have a dog, we will definitely adopt one. #adoptdontshop

My son had fun with this book. He said Nash was cute and so active like him. He also said that he thinks he could be friends with Nash and any other dogs since he loves dogs so much.

I know nothing about illustration, but the illustrations in this book are like the ones in animation movies.

This is a great book to show children the message and importance of adopting an animal, aswell as what to expect and the patience needed. It shows the many mistakes and early accidents that can occur and it explains it in a calm way. A wonderful book with such bright and friendly illustrations

A truly heartwarming story about the joy of a dog's adoption day. Amanda Newell perfectly captures the wonder and excitement of bringing a rescue dog into a new family, based on her own dog, Nash. It's a beautifully illustrated book that celebrates new beginnings and the special bond between a dog and its family. A perfect read-aloud for kids and a must-have for any dog-loving home.

It seems like only yesterday that my dog was in the same position as little Nash. It's been ten years but this one brought back some memories. Told from Nash's viewpoint, it's a fun story of him finding his forever home while learning the routine. I loved that the humans involved picked him to match their lifestyle, not expecting an active, needs lots of exercise dog to simply become a couch potato at the snap of their fingers. They'd obviously done their homework, knowing both what they wanted and what to expect. I did a bit of homework, too, as I'm not familiar with this breed, and found that Nash could be expected to weigh 60-100 pounds when full grown and needs plenty of exercise. If this is a series, I'm wondering if we'll hear Nash's vocalizing from his hound side at some point. Grin.

The illustrations are well done, the cover an excellent example. I liked that they showed Nash both as a puppy waiting for his forever home, then him exploring his new home and, yes, the outside world he'd obviously been adopted to share. The oops moments are realistic and was glad to see the initial not-so-successful attempts at tasks simply accepted with a "we'll try again tomorrow" attitude. Good approach and one the best dog people around aspire to reflect. Bottom line, fun story with equally fun illustrations. Adventures with Nash Dog is a cute story. It is about a puppy who gets adopted by a couple who name him Nash. Nash gets settled into his new home and starts to learn rules about being a dog in a home. The family recognizes that having a puppy is a lot of work, but very worth it for the love and companionship having a pet brings.

If you are looking to adopt a puppy and you have a little one I highly suggest this book.

Nash begins the story at the pound and he wonders who his mommy and daddy will be - and then they come and take him home.

He pees on Mommy on his way home and she doesn't get mad, then pees on the bed when they are about to go to sleep, and they talk about walking etc.

Great story that your little ones won't be hearing "blah blah blah blah" iykyk and the illustrations are great!
