This is a great look at neurodivergence, especially children with ADHD, and how special their thought process is, even if it doesn't match the neurotypical brains around it. I liked how the author tied in God's unique plan for each person, and how are brains are creative and fast-paced on purpose. Readers will see themselves, as well as their friends, in this thoughtful, reflective book.

I highly recommend this book for parochial schools, libraries, and churches.

As a parent (my husband was even sad that this didn't exist when he was a kid) I cannot recommend The Amazing Brain Club highly enough. Lindsey Goff Viducich has crafted a truly special and empowering book that addresses a topic many children struggle with—feeling different—and does so with incredible love and insight. This is more than just a picture book; it's a profound reminder that our differences, like having an ADHD brain, are not weaknesses but God-given gifts.

The story is beautifully told, presenting ADHD not as a deficit, but as a source of creativity and unique strengths, like imaginative thinking and energetic problem-solving. The message that every child is intentionally and wonderfully made is reinforced throughout, and the illustrations are as vibrant and joyful as the message itself.

What's particularly wonderful is that this book isn't just for neurodiverse children. It's an invaluable tool for all children to foster empathy and understanding for their classmates, siblings, and friends who may think differently. It’s a beautiful reminder that in God’s family, all kinds of minds belong. A must-read for every family and classroom, this book helps build a more compassionate and accepting world, one page at a time.

The Amazing Brain Club is an affirming and inclusive story that celebrates the idea that all children are wonderfully made and valued as part of God’s design. I appreciated how the book communicates this message without labeling or singling anyone out. Notably, it never once uses the term ADHD, yet it clearly speaks to children who recognize their own busy, creative, fast-moving minds in the story.

The book does an excellent job of highlighting both strengths and challenges without judgment. Children with this kind of brain are shown as imaginative, curious, energetic, and capable, while also acknowledging moments when focus or self-regulation can be difficult. Importantly, these challenges are never framed as flaws or failures, and the characters are treated with dignity and warmth throughout.

This makes The Amazing Brain Club a valuable read not only for children who have ADHD, but also for their classmates and parents. It encourages empathy, understanding, and appreciation for different ways of thinking, while reinforcing the idea that every child has unique gifts to offer.

Overall, this is a thoughtful and encouraging book that helps foster confidence in children and compassion in those around them. The illustrations are also spot on, with a touch of childhood whimsy. Highly recommend.

This book was great. We all have different brains and all are needed. We all have different skills and were made that way one purpose. I think this is a great book to share those principles with kids.

This book is for all kids (and adults)! Narrated from the perspective of kids, this book shows kids how some people's brains store everything in filing cabinets and other people's brains store everything like confetti. Our brains are idea factories and asking questions is okay. Sometimes our brains have energy all on the inside and sometimes that energy is on the outside and our energy is more than we can control. This book really celebrates differences and how God created all of us (and our brains) uniquely. I highly recommend this book for a home library.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Joyful Celebration of God‑Designed Brilliance
The Amazing Brain Club is one of those rare picture books that feels like it was written with families like mine in mind. Lindsey Goff Viducich captures something I’ve spent years trying to speak over my son—that his brain, with all its creativity, intensity, energy, sensitivity, and spark, isn’t a flaw to fix but a masterpiece of God’s design.
While the book focuses on ADHD, it also fits my autistic son perfectly. He saw himself in these pages—the big feelings, the bright ideas, the unique ways of thinking—and instead of feeling “different,” he felt understood. Watching him light up as he recognized his strengths reflected back with kindness and celebration was a moment I’ll hold close. It reminded him (and me) that God crafted his mind with intention, purpose, and love. He saw himself as the child who dreams big, thinks boldly, and loves deeply
The story doesn’t just empower neurodiverse kids; it gently teaches siblings, classmates, and friends how to appreciate the beautiful variety of brains around them. My grandkids immediately connected the dots to their cousin, and it opened up such meaningful conversations about empathy, patience, and celebrating differences. Books that help children understand one another with compassion are rare, and this one does it with grace.
The illustrations are vibrant and full of motion—exactly the kind of joyful energy that mirrors the lived experience of kids whose minds don’t fit neatly into boxes. And the biblical truths woven throughout—about being wonderfully made, deeply loved, and intentionally created—brought such peace to our reading time. It’s the kind of reassurance I want my children to carry with them long after childhood.
For our family, this book is more than a story. It’s affirmation. It’s encouragement. It’s a reminder that neurodiversity is part of God’s beautiful mosaic, and that every child—ADHD, autistic, neurotypical, or anywhere in between—belongs in the Amazing Brain Club.
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and Lindsey Goff Viducich for the opportunity to read this early. We’ll be adding a physical copy to our home library the moment it’s released.
Every brain belongs in the Amazing Brain Club—and this book helps kids believe it.

The "Amazing Brain Club" by Lindsey Goff Viducich is a wonderful book to help children understand how our brains work differently. The encouraging message for children with ADHD is what drew me into this book. So often, they receive negativity for the way their brains work, so it's a refreshing read to hear how God made their brains with superpowers.

This book is a beautifully illustrated faith based story about children’s minds who have ADHD and how God has created them to be the beautiful, unique, creative, people that they are. If you have a child with ADHD or if you know someone with ADHD this is a great book that helps explain to children on their level that children with ADHD have wonderful minds too.
