Description
Discover the New York Times bestselling thriller from James Patterson, perfect for fans of Freida McFadden's The Housemaid and the Women's Murder Club series.
My name is Elinor Gilbert. And I am the Invisible Woman.
Elinor Gilbert was once a young woman with a thriving career at the FBI.
Now, decades past solving crimes with the bureau, she is personally and professionally forgettable.
Which is exactly what her former FBI boss needs. He disguises Elinor as a middle-aged nanny, and casts her as an agent on the inside of his investigation into a New York art dealer suspected of ties to organised crime.
But as Elinor pushes toward the truth, her superpower - anonymity - risks doubling as a fatal flaw.
The more the invisible woman integrates into her 'host' family, the more dangerously memorable she becomes.

Wow! Clear your diary!
This book is an absolute treat.
We meet Elinor, an ex-FBI agent who is suddenly thrown back into the field by her nemesis, and tasked to become an undercover nanny to a wealthy family. Playing the "invisible middle-aged woman" she believes herself to be, Elinor hilariously navigates life with mum Amber and baby Lily, despite having zero experience.
The true joy of this story is Elinor's humour, which shines through her amusing mishaps and hilarious inner thoughts as she learns on the job.
When a threat descends, she fiercely brings her skills to the fore to uncover the sinister secrets.
With an ending that's tied up as neatly as a pair of Jimmy Choos wrapped in lavender tissue paper with red ribbons, this is perfect for a relaxing day covered up in a warm blanket.
I received an advance copy of this book and this is my own opinion.

Wow! I read this book within a day, that's how much I loved it.
Elinor is a former FBI agent with decades of experience who is approached to go undercover as a middle aged nanny. Her job is to find out everything she can about Ben, the father of the kids she's caring for. Lily is a cute 5 month old and Hailey is a teenager.
Elinor never had kids so she is clueless and had to Google to find out everything about looking after a 5 month old, it's funny. I loved Elinor from the start, she has a great sense of humour and good at her job.
I was engrossed from the first page and couldn't put it down. Huge 5 stars.

What a great read. It’s no wonder James Patterson is regarded as one of the most entertaining authors today.
Elinor Gilbert is invisible, she’s at that age when people just stop seeing her, and that’s her superpower, she can do things and go places and no one notices.
So when the FBI ask her to do a little job for them, what can go wrong.
A compulsive read that I had to finish.
