Book 4 in the Cristy Ward series
A terrible crime. A shocking confession. Do you believe her?
Twenty years ago, Nicole’s twins disappeared without a trace.
No bodies. No witnesses.
Despite her pleas of innocence, Nicole was convicted.
Now she’s out. And she’s finally confessed.
But for true crime podcast host Cristy Ward, the story doesn’t add up.
Having worked on the case as a young reporter, Cristy can’t help but wonder whether Nicole is the villain everyone believes her to be.
Why did Nicole confess after so many years … and is the truth still out there, waiting…?
Praise for the Cristy Ward series:

First things first, I want to thank Netgalley and also HarperCollins UK for this ARC!
This is already book 4 in the Cristy Ward series, and while I do usually do only standalone books, I still do enjoy it very much to follow along! Now, if you think this series and especially this book is for you, I strongly suggest starting with the first one, and reading them all in order!
I think the only criticism for this one is that the pace of the story feels a little uneven, and dragging in some places. But then I read about all those great characters, and everything is forgiven. Can only recommend!
I always adore being back in Bristol/Guernsey with old familiar characters. The string, tragic story line is a good contrast to the comfort of old friends.
The team of Hindsight are back chasing the truth for unsolved murders. This time however the culprit is in custody…but did the right person get sentenced?
A tragic tale of motherhood, love, death, secrets and the lengths we go for love.
The overarching story is equally fraught with tension and possible huge changes for Christy.
Susan Lewis is an expert story teller and this is one of her best. Brilliant characters. A gripping plot, a good dose of humour amongst the tragedy and a brilliant teaser of more to come!
This book would easily be enjoyed as a standalone but is so much better as part of the series.

An intriguing storyline continuing on the series featuring Cristy and Conner’s crime podcast set in Bristol. This book delves into a new mystery for the team to solve and features the familiar cast of characters in the series. The story centres around the disappearance of baby twins 20 years previously. There were rumours that their mother was involved in a cult and that she had been responsible for the children’s deaths. She has been serving a prison sentence ever since. Cristy, Conner and Team are trying to find out what really happened back then. It’s a complex, well written book, which kept me guessing right until the truth is finally revealed. I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend. Looking forward to more in this series.

Another great read in the Cristy Ward thriller series. This time Cristy investigates a possible miscarriage of justice. We also learn more about Cristy's personal life, including relationship and health issues. I love this series and can't wait for the next instalment.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an arc in exchange for an honest review.

This quickly became my favourite of the Cristy Ward books. For the Hindsight crew, a new investigation will test all of their skills. Nicole Ivorson was convicted of killing her twins twenty years ago, after protesting her innocence. However, Nicole has now confessed and been released on parole. Cristy was a young reporter at the time, and is keen to get under the skin of the story. But it's not going to be easy; with legal restrictions, missing witnesses and an elusive accomplice to track down.
What I really enjoyed about Who Can You Trust is the strong storyline for Cristy, who is struggling with the menopause and its impact on her life. In many thriller novels, as the reader you can see the characters as not real life people. To have a character experiencing what so many women go through is a real refreshing change, and brings a lot of depth to Cristy.

Another great thriller from Susan Lewis. Due out 9th april.
Christy has some decisions to make in her personal and professional life. Added to this, she is investigating a 20 yr old mystery concerning missing twins.
A good twist at the end, another brilliant ending. It gets 5 stars from me.

I was excited to return to the Hindsight Podcast and Christy and Connor and their team. As always, the author develops the characters so well.
In this latest book we find Christy approaching her 50th birthday and going through difficult times with many decisions that have to be made.
A shocking crime had been committed 20 years ago - two babies (twins) had apparently disappeared. Their mother Nicole denied any knowledge as to what had happened, but the jury found her guilty of murder though no bodies were found.
Suddenly after 20 years Nicole confesses to the murder and is released from prison. The team delve into the case and Nicole agrees to speak to them. This is certainly an emotional rollercoaster for Christy as she was involved as a journalist at the time of the twins' disappearance.
The plot is well developed and we are drawn into the world of cults as the team investigate.
Great storytelling and I enjoyed catching up with all the characters from the previous books, particularly Rosie. This is however a standalone novel.
Can't wait for the next Hindsight Podcast.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for the ARC.

Excellent book regarding two babies which went missing in 2005 Podcast journalist from Hindsight, Cristy and Connor interview Nicole who was the young mother and try to find out if it was true that she was part of a cult run by Jean-Claude Meier. There is twist to the story, and the more you read the book the more you want to who what happened to the twins, Noah and Ivorson.
