One thing about me? I’ll eat up a beauty and the beast vibe EVERY single time. It’s always my fave kind of plot to read if I pick up a dark or historical romance. Sadie knocked it out of the park with the writing in this book. The world building was incredible and it felt dark and dangerous, almost stepping into thriller at times.
Lincoln was cold (and hot 🥵😂) but he had a huge heart under all that baggage and Imogen was so naive and inexperienced but self aware of her sheltered life and I really loved seeing her slowly try to figure out who she is. I cannot WAIT to read the next book! I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

Ahh what a book and that ending! The auction is such a gripping read! It give me beauty and the beast meets batman vibes!

It follows the story of imogen and mr knight. Imogen is sold at an auction as part of a trafficking ring. Sold to the brotherhood by her grandfather. Destined to be a slave to men, only after paying 10 millions dollars Mr Knight takes her as a form of rescue.

Now, mr knight!!! Hes an absolute bad ass Billionaire working alone to bring down the brotherhood and rescue as many of these girls as he can. The chapters where he rescues LOT 17 ( leah ) was so gripping and packed full of action I couldn't tear my gaze away from the page but Mr Knight has secrets that imogen doesnt yet know!

The FMC, Imogen has lead a sheltered life to the point music and tv and even food are a luxury and she's experiencing feelings towards my Knight that she doesnt know what to do with. Poor Imogen was expecting a life of hell after the auction but is instead surrounded by luxury that she doesnt quite understand. She was brought up by her grandfather and larissa on how to pretty much be a robot for men so this outcome is totally foreign to her.

Then the spice starts! The spice scenes were written perfectly and the scene with the tampon!! I absolutley love sadies writing style and cant wait to read book 2!
