Love a compulsively readable story!!

I ate this book up! The main character was utterly captivating, making bad decision after bad decision, yet you get why she does it.

The second half of this book went in a more extreme direction than I had anticipated but I saw the seeds that were planted to get us there. Honestly I’ve realised I love a little sprinkling of horror in my books, so I’m not complaining!

Also impressive to have me laughing one chapter and then absolutely tense the next.

Themes about authenticity and what you would do for that taste of fame and money… just brilliant.

I simply really enjoyed everything about this. Also a great audiobook!! I would recommend it pretty broadly, though if you need it check trigger warnings.

Would 100% read form this author again. What a brilliant debut.

This was UNHINGED! I couldn’t put it down, absolutely wild. I cringed so much for Julie. Such a great insight into the whole ‘influencer’ lifestyle. Reminded me in parts of Yellowface so if you liked that then you’d like this one. A super fast paced read!

I loved this book from start to finish! It gave a brilliant insight into the toxic side of social media influencers and how the desire to have it all can corrupt otherwise good people. I found the character of Julie hilarious and more than a little flawed, which made reading the story even more enjoyable because the line between the "good" guys and the "bad" guys blurred very quickly. The plot twists at the end were shocking yet incredibly satisfying, and I loved how the story "finished", leaving me to wonder what happens next. This entire book was crazy and unhinged and dark, and I adored every single second of it!
