This is another incredible romance by Kait Nolan. I have never read anything from her that I didn't love! Her characters are so wonderfully flawed. The journey to togetherness is never easy, but it's always so worth it! Her writing is incredible and she manages to bring good stories book after book! This story has almost as many evil, up to no good characters as it does loving and vulnerable. It does have a very temporary third quarter break up. This is a marriage of convenience trope...If you want a book that leaves you happy and sighing, try Kait Nolan books. She never disappoints."

"This was INCREDIBLE!!! As an ARC reader, this is my honest opinion. If you see my reviews on Amazon, Bookbub, or Goodreads, you will notice I don't give out 5 stars often. Kait Nolan has been an author who consistently puts out amazing stories. Never boring, always a page turner, and characters you either love or not. Like Emmaline's mom for example. She's the perfect, "Cruella". You won't like her either. Then there's Bodie and Emmaline. I believe these two are her best characters in this series so far! Bodie is so patient and has looked out for Emmaline since she was 12. So, it isn't a shocker that he steps up to help Em when she desperately needs it. Em is fragile in the sense of her emotions from verbal abuse since she was a child. Yet she is so strong when it comes to her brother, the bakery, and allowing herself to love and be loved. A really moving story that I couldn't put down. There's no cheating or cliffhanger, and you get the beginning of a happy ever after. Note... I love the fact that these two start with friendship, then marriage, and build their relationship before they build mutual passion. A wee bit old fashioned, but I loved it!! Enjoy. I sure did!!!"

"Heart, Hope, Heat, Humor and Emotional Rollercoaster - Could Not Put Down!

Kait Nolan has outdone herself with this one - (and I have LOVED all of her previous ones!). Bodie and Emmaline are well written, likable characters with depth despite all of their miscommunication and locked down emotions. They both have good hearts, and Bodie can't help "rescuing" his former BFF and she has so much baggage from her toxic family and the "feud". But a "fake" wedding, forced proximity and sparks fly and the fun begins. I also loved that his close family showed her what real love and acceptance can be vs. what she knows. And the SassyPants society (their text chains :)!) provide the LOLs (and perhaps a push?). The book also delves into serious topics with sensitivity and care - and we all need a Bodie to protect and care for us. I can't wait for more of the Gibson siblings to get their stories - Enjoy!"
