What a joy to read and I couldn't stop reading it as I wanted to know how Viola would untangle herself from the career she's built on a lie and reconcile her feelings for her first love, Tom Croft. It had all the warmth, depth and connection you'd expect from Miranda Dickinson but with a delightful ghostly twist.

It was full of humour, relevance in a world where social media plays such a large part of out lives and where witchtok mesmerises followers and magic is made believable. It felt original with fantastic locations you want to visit like the cafe and the record shop with unforgettable characters including the Starbloomers.

By the end I was left sobbing but uplifted and a desire to reread it all over again. It is not only perfect for the spooky season but Christmas too. Lana Wren is a new queen of paranormal romcom on my must read author list.
