Description
FROM THE AUTHOR OF A SERIAL KILLER'S GUIDE TO MARRIAGE, SHORTLISTED FOR THE RADIO 2 BOOK CLUB AWARD 2026
'Battling bad guys and bath time - a killer marriage and one killer book' KATY BRENT
'The most relatable book about serial killers that I have ever read' TASHA CORYELL
___________
Fox and Hazel's to-do list: - Homework - Housework - Homicide?
Fox and Hazel just want a normal life: two kids, a beautiful house, and the occasional date night murdering people who deserve it. Yet having it all is hard when you want to kill bad men but raise good kids.
With a school mum tyrant on Hazel's case - and a botched kill leaving Fox with serious performance anxiety - their midlife crisis is spiralling. Therapy isn't helping, and bullet journaling has taken on a whole new meaning.
But when the couple accidentally draw a deadly mobster to their doorstep, they must pull it together - and fast. Because surviving suburbia is no longer just a challenge.
Now it's a real fight for their family's lives.
And it turns out, having it all starts with staying alive. . . PRAISE FOR NOT LIKE THE OTHER PARENTS: 'The most relatable book about serial killers that I have ever read. It's as funny as it is familiar. A perfect read for anyone that has ever tried to maintain a hobby while raising a toddler.' TASHA CORYELL MORE PRAISE FOR FOX AND HAZEL: 'Sexy, stylish, thrilling. A razor-sharp tale of marriage and murder.' CHRIS WHITAKER 'Your sassy, twisted must-read of 2025' JANICE HALLETT 'If you liked Mr & Mrs Smith, you'll love this' CLARE MACKINTOSH 'Darkly funny and clever' KATY BRENT 'Huge fun. You won't put it down.' HARRIET TYCE 'Sharp, whip smart and laugh out loud funny' ANDREA MARA 'Dark, daring and disturbingly funny' LESLEY KARA 'A dark, twisted riot' ELLERY LLOYD

Haze and Fox are delightful characters albeit with a gruesome sideline. Now juggling two children, they discover someone has been tracking all their kills and is now on the way to take them out. Fox feels he's losing the plot and goes to a therapist. Haze event starts to doubt her best friend. The pacey book will entertain you. If you've not read the previous books featuring the couple, you are in for a treat if you start with them first!

Yayyy haze and fox are back and at it again! Fox is having a mid life crisis, and Haze, after having a second child, has major beef with a fellow mom at the schoolgate
This book was so so fun, and I really hope we get more from them

I have just finished this follow up to 'A Serial Killers Guide to Marriage' and it doesn't disappoint. Another roller coaster tale with keeps the reader engaged throughout with main characters from the first book and some new ones added. Both humorous and scary at times, I really enjoyed this book and wonder whether the author can one up with another in the series.
