"This book was so good. I wasn’t sure I was going to like it but the author pulled me quickly and I couldn’t put it down.

I highly recommend this book if you haven’t had a chance to read anything by Jaime P. Bradley before.

It was a sweetheart romance, a reluctant, second chance romance. It was a slow burn with lots of build up and man did they explode when it finally happened.

This is the story of Carrie a hotel manager of sorts who is trying to make her best friends wedding the most epic day of her life, while simultaneously dealing with her horrible ex-husband and even worse ex in laws. She is in the middle of getting ready for the wedding when she literally runs into the groomsmen. And that’s when everything changes. But will she be able to adapt and overcome or will she stay safe and be alone?

Ryan is a Marine Fitness Instructor who lives in sunny San Diego but flys out to Delaware in the snow for his friends wedding. Because no marine gets left behind. He wasn’t looking for anything or anyone on this trip other than to make sure Ben’s wedding goes off without a hitch. Until the lovely Carrie runs into his chest while texting and walking.

These two fight so hard to keep to themselves but also hang out together. It’s so frustrating at times I had wanted to smack them both. She was so stuck in her own head that when she finally did get out of her own way he was stuck in his.

I wanted to cry near then end thinking there wasn’t going to be a happy ending for them. But love never fails and oh how sweet it was.

Normally I like a little more smutty goodness and some touch her and die vibes. Which I got at one point, Go Ryan! But I truly loved this story and can’t wait to see if anything happens with Greer and Andrea!

I highly recommend this book and hope you will pick up a copy and give Jamie as well as Carrie and Ryan a chance!.
