This book was amazing, full cast audiobook, amazing!
The narrators just dragged me into this story, I usually only listen to audiobooks while at work and when commuting, when I get home I don't touch audiobooks, I read in my e-reader. But not with this audiobook, I couldn't put it down.
Please check trigger warning, there are some dark things going around in thas compound.
The book has 4 POV, at first I was not sure but it was refreshing to have a romance plot between a couple that is more around my age 😂😂(46).
I will for sure be checking out the backlog of this author ❤️

This is what keeps me coming back to listen to Dakota Davies. No one writes romantic suspense like her! The final book in her Love Me Dangerous series, I wasn't prepared for it! I know, each book builds a little more on this and I was mind blown. Linnea is back in Finn River ready to start her new job and has moved back in with her dad. Her first night home, she goes out to acclimate herself back to civilization and hooks up with newcomer CJ. His charm won her over immediately, but then she finds out he is working for her dad, Rowdy, hoping to train and take over when he retires. This throws a wrench in their budding relationship for sure, but doesn't stop them from sneaking around. Rowdy has been alone since the death of his wife, and Linnea's sister has been trying to get him to date. Keo has caught his eye, but when he was supposed to call her, he didn't! Will she forgive and forget? And then there is the suspense. The slow build to the darkness that is in Finn River. Each discovery is mind blowing, and it's the kind of feeling that had my heart racing! All the previous characters coming to play in this amazing story, it's like coming home and finally getting the ending I needed!

A multicast narration had my ears smiling! Laura Horowitz, Walker Williams, MK Blackwood, Gregory Salinas, Stephen Borne, and Robert Hatchet all play their parts with emotions, from passion to fear, anger to bravery and excitement to love. I could not stop listening, and will remember this performance.

The full cast audio added so much dimension to this beautifully written romantic suspense. I love that this book featured 2 love stories in one. The overarching plot of the 2 stories being about a cult drew me, as in a sucker for cult stuff. The development of the relationships was written so well, and the suspense element truly gave me anxiety! I just loved everything about this book.
Love Me Wild is book 7 in the Love Me Dangerous series. The books are interconnected standalones. I haven’t read the other books but didn’t feel like I was missing anything in the story. I absolutely cannot wait to go back and read the rest of this series.

Small town charm, cowboys, romantic suspense, and a dual love story that completely pulled me in. I was hooked from the start and didn’t want to stop listening!

The audiobook was especially incredible. With a full cast narration, each POV had its own actors, even many of the side characters were voiced by different narrators, which made the story feel so immersive and alive.

This may be the 7th book in the series, but it works as a standalone. I hadn’t read the previous books and had no trouble following along… though now I definitely want to go back and read the rest!

This finely crafted story has pain and joy. With two separate love stories unfolding simultaneously, this reader was excited that the focus never strayed from the events and emotions as they played out, making each couple a priority and showing their depth and meaning. Each of the characters are carrying bits and pieces of their past on their shoulders. Meeting their other half allows them to grow and to become their best self. As they learn to allow their partner access to their hearts we see cracks in their armor and strength in their connection.. I love that their happiness shines through so brightly and they become such a big loving family. The wrap up of the suspense and danger is handled in a way that satisfies the reader and confirms that their environment is safe and comfortable. The audio version is performed with such emotion and attitude that the depth of the story is immediately recognizable. I enjoyed this whole experience and look forward to many more stories from this author.

Devoured this ALC from NetGalley! The storyline was perfection! The chemistry was on point and the whole vibe was top tier! Cannot recommend enough!

oh WOW. just… W O W! This was actually my very first read by this author and I can honestly say with 100% certainty that it won’t be my last because just holy emotions batman! I literally adored every single minute of this audiobook! The narrators were also fantastic in bringing this emotional, swoon-worthy story to life.

The writing is good and the story get a lot more then the blurb I saying, so you get a lot of surprises in this book!

You think it goes one way, and you are more happy whit the way it went because it was more realistic.

This was apparently part of a series, but it reads as a completely standalone ( didn’t see it before I searched it up here)

2 love stories in 1? Yes please!! This was such a great read. The growth in all the characters was perfect. They all had such tragic pasts and I loved seeing them all overcome so much and be with the ones they love.

CJ is newly sober & starting his first day as a conservation officer when he realizes the girl he hooked up with a few nights earlier is actually his grumpy mentor’s daughter 😬 AND now they’re coworkers too. The mess. The tension. The bad decisions. I ate it up.

The chemistry in this one felt natural from the start & I loved how intense but still emotional it got. Every meetup between them had me kicking my feet a little ngl.

AND can we PLEASE talk about finally getting MMC/FMCs that don’t feel 18, 22, or 24 😭🤣 As an almost-40-year-old reader, this hit SO much better for me. Getting POVs from the FMC’s dad and his own journey honestly ended up being icing on the cake because we also get the daughter’s side reminding us of when we were younger and making all those chaotic choices ourselves 😂 It was such a good balance between mature love, healing, family dynamics, and still keeping that younger emotional chaos energy mixed in. Perfect combo to keep everyone hooked.

Also Laura Horowitz?? Officially one of my favorite FMC narrators ever. I met her at Romantasy Con LA 2026 & she was genuinely the sweetest human. She even signed my daughter’s ear buds case for us 🥹 after this audio I am convinced I’ll honestly 👂🏻 to anything she narrates.🖤

The full cast audio made this feel super immersive too. Definitely one of those audios where you keep saying “one more chapter” and suddenly it’s 2am.😬🤷🏻‍♀️Also I read this as a standalone, which I immediately added the rest of the series in my tbr. Welcome back to Finn River and the epic conclusion of this fabulous series. From beginning to end, this story will captivate you and keep you engaged. Love Me Wild is definitely my favorite and the best of this series.
Linnea has returned home for work. On her first night out, she meets CJ. Linnea is very leery of relationships due to her past. CJ is enthralled with her and definitely wants more. Rowdy and Keo met at an event earlier in the year, but he never contacted her. She has called for help with a possible wildlife emergency and Rowdy arrives. They start seeing each other at this point. What happens between the two couples? What about the mystery with the cult? Sit back, relax and get ready for a wild ride.
The full cast duet narration was absolutely extraordinary. Laura Horowitz was brilliant as sweet, beautiful, nature loving Linnea and her strong, big sister Sofie. Gregory Salinas was delightful as kind, humble, protective CJ. MK Blackwood was superb as sweet, sassy, happy artist Keo. Walker Williams was divine as grumpy, growly, devoted Rowdy. Stephen Borne was spectacular as big, burly, charming Bear. Please listen to CJ’s description of Bear is chapter one. Robert Hatchet was divine as strong, faithful deputy Zach. These six talented voice actors brought this story to life magnificently. I could feel every emotion-from grief, sadness, uncertainty to happiness and love through their voices. I highly recommend listening to this fantastic audiobook.
It has been wonderful listening to this group of characters grow up, mature, find love and happiness. The Love Me Dangerous series is one of my all time favorite small town romantic suspense series. Grab this audiobook now!

This was an amazing cast. They all did fabulous. This was such an amazing audiobook, I couldn't get enough of it

I loved this breathtaking, steamy and addictive small-town romantic suspense story! This two for one romance had it all, tension, action, mystery, suspense, passion, and love! We are treated to two couples, CJ and Linnea, and Rowdy and Keo, and I couldn't get enough of either of them! Linnea is home after her long field assignment, and is looking forward to working locally. While out dancing with her friend, she meets CJ and they have instant connection. Unfortunately when they meet again, CJ is starting his own new job, working with her father, Rowdy. Linnea doesn't want her father to know about her growing relationship with CJ, but he is determined to win her over and change her mind. Meanwhile, Rowdy is on a call only to find out it is to help the woman he met awhile ago and never called. He really liked Keo, but didn't know if he was ready for a relationship after his wife passed. Now he doesn't want to let her go. These two wonderful connections are building as the suspense of missing children, poaching, and more is putting all their lives at risk. This is a heart pounding, rollercoaster ride of suspense, desire, determination & love! With all the twists and turns happening, I was on the edge of my seat, completely consumed by this story.
The voices of Laura Horowitz, Walker Williams, MK Blackwood, Gregory Salinas, Stephen Borne, and Robert Hatchet, did an excellent job bringing these compelling characters, and this gripping story to life. They picked the perfect tone for this story and easily delivered all the emotion, and heart pounding suspense, making this story even more captivating.

This is my first Dakota Davies book and I'm putting this as my reason as to why I was a little confused in the beginning 😅

At some stages this felt a little rushed, there are two different stories within this book and I almost wish they had their own books so we could get fully immersed in both and they could have the in-depth stories that they deserved.

With that being said I did enjoy both stories and it was interesting to see how both generations had similar problems and how they dealt with them.

The cult aspect of the story was super interesting and I really enjoyed Dakotas take on this, even if it was mainly from the outside.

All of the narrators were incredible and did a great job showing the emotions across each characters.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I hope to re-enter this world again soon!

First of all, narration for this was phenomenal. I'm not familiar with the other names, but Laura Horowitz is always amazing, and all the other narrators were of the same caliber. I love when multiple people narrate.

I went into this not knowing it was NUMBER SEVEN OF A SERIES!! Oopsie. But they're all interconnected standalones, and I don't think reading the others is necessary. I didn't feel lost, anyway.

Love Me Wild pulls together Linnea, her father Rowdy (I ADORE that name), CJ, and Keyo (unsure sp?). Linnea and CJ have *a spicy moment* at a bar, then find out soon after that her dad is his boss. Rowdy met Keyo months ago and never texted her back. Throw all that in a blender with a couple of runaways, a cult, and some outdoorsy stuff, and you get this book. The spice was spicy, the relationships were interesting, and even with a lot of MCs and side characters, everyone had their own voice.

Fair warning though, the final 15% is where EVERYTHING HAPPENS ALL AT ONCE. Not that the story is paced slowly by any means, but like...dang. Prepare for a wild ride.

Definitely recommend for readers of romantic suspense! I would read more by this author, and this book reminded me that I should read more in this genre!

Let’s talk about this amazing full cast. I’m not sure where I have been but some of these narrators are new to me and blew me away with their talent and how well they conveyed the emotions and personalities of the characters and seamlessly played off each other. Walker Williams as Rowdy. Gregory Salinas as CJ. Both Laura Horowitz and MK Blackwood excellent as Keo and Linnea. Stephen Borne and Robert Hatchet finishing out the full cast


The final book to the series couldn’t have been any better. All the crumbs that are left throughout the series comes to its conclusion in this gripping romantic suspense. Two love stories in one. Silver older fox Rowdy and Keo and Cowboy CJ and Linnea. Both couples are fully developed and man we really start off with some spice, hot. Never any lag on the story, suspense and romance woven well together and the shared page time was well done as well between the couples. It helped that Rowdy was Linnea father giving it even more depth to the story. Excellent story, characters and narration! All set in a dreamy small mountain town in Idaho. Dakota did amazing job. I read this as an immersive read the ALC was #gifted from NetGalley and Victory Editing and the ebook was from KindleUnlimited.

Spice, romance, and suspense: the trifecta of a great audiobook. This one grabbed my attention due to its full cast, and it did not disappoint - the narration was excellent.

Mixing two romances, different relationships, new jobs and a number of official departments involved in bringing down a local cult was, at times, a lot. This might have taken away a bit from the main storyline. Although, once I got going, the pace of the story was great. The character development made you feel invested; you cheered everyone on and waited for the happy ending. The story built up beautifully over the hours and even though I anticipated the climax at the end (and that is the literary one, although there were plenty of the other kind too!), it was still full of suspense and action.

Readers who enjoy a little spice in their romance along with a solid dose of suspense will love this book—and the hot cowboys and their horses are just the ultimate icing on the cake.

I stumbled across Love Me Wild on NetGalley, saw "full cast audio," and immediately requested it. I'm so glad I did because WOW. This audiobook was equal parts addictive, emotional, and swoon-worthy. It completely pulled me in from the start and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I found myself constantly thinking about it and anxious to get back to listening. Honestly, the fact that I devoured this in 3 days is basically unheard of for me lately.

One of the things that stood out to me most was the mental health representation. I felt incredibly seen by the FMC's struggles, and I appreciated how thoughtfully those emotions were portrayed throughout the story. The characters felt deeply human - flawed, layered, messy at times - but still incredibly lovable and easy to root for.

And the chemistry??? Absolutely top tier. The romance hao me swooning until the very last page. I genuinely finished this book thinking: WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S OVER???
The full cast narration elevated the experience even more and made the story feel so immersive. 10/10.

This was my first Dakota Davies book, but it definitely won't be my last. I'll absolutely be going back to read/listen to the rest of the series.

The full cast audio was incredible. Experiencing the story for a second time with this wildly talented group of narrators was like being in the story with them. This is an audiobook I could listen to over and over and never tire of the story, characters and narrators.
I’m still catching my breath and trying to slow my heart rate after this wild ride. My head knew this was the series finale, but my heart hasn’t quite caught up yet. Love Me Wild was a thrilling ending to our time in Finn River and once again gave me everything I love about Dakota's writing - the romance, suspense, all the found family love and support, small town warmth, and of course scorching chemistry and spice.
I'm looking forward to what comes next from this talented author.
