What a pleasure this was to read - perfect for a 7 plus reader who likes funny books. The animals are excellently drawn and full of character, and the situation of superhero koalas versus an evil ostrich is handled really well. The humour is pitch perfect as a combination of word play and absurdity that will amuse an adult sharing the story, but give a child a giggle too.
The plot is clear, linear and easy to understand and the text on the page is nicely broken up with different fonts for exclamations or actions, with many illustrations.
A great chapter book to hold the interest of a distractible reader.
