Selene is a high-stakes investor building life-saving infrastructure, powered by an ancestral power. She seduces powerful men to harvest their energy. It starts as a gift. It becomes her Protocol, refined through psychology, ritual, technology, and obsession.
Then Ethan, a Silicon Valley millionaire with everything to lose, signs the Protocol.
He becomes her most powerful subject yet. Their connection is intoxicating, obsessive, and irreversible. But Selene's power comes with a brutal cost. As the line between harvest and love blurs, the stakes become more dangerous for both of them.
Based on real psychology and real mind control protocols.

What an intense, power driven novel. Lots of boundary issues to think about. Great to have a female in charge. Loved the supernatural side to it and the ethical considerations.
Well … I don’t totally know what I just read.
I went into this without many expectations and I can tell you for free I would not have (in my wildest dreams) EVER guessed where this book was going - at any point and time.
Selene is such an interesting character - in some ways you see her battle and grapple with these weird powers - but truthfully everything she generally does is for the good of the many?? And like the ethics of what she’s doing is so weird. Idk like you think deeply about some really odd things.
I don’t want to spoil it at all - but I would equate it to maybe reading Pavlov’s journal about like control protocols if it was slutty.
This may be one of the weirdest books I have ever read - and I’ve read a lot of weird books. I’m going to give it 4 🌟 because the plot is just so out there - but probably 3.5 🌟 for like enjoyability because it wasn’t totally for me.
