Hope and Learning, Our Journey with Schizophrenia offers a unique perspective, combining Dr. Snow-Griffin’s personal reflections as a mother with her experience and knowledge as a psychologist. She describes her family’s personal journey toward recovery, explains how schizophrenia impacted her family including the challenges that they encountered, and identifies ways for caregivers to care for themselves.

By sharing her personal and professional experience with schizophrenia, she hopes to break some of the stigma surrounding it and provide useful tools and knowledge to those who might be experiencing a similar journey. 

Her story is filled with both heartache and hope. She wrote a book that she wished she had at the beginning of her journey and wants others to benefit from what she learned.
