Three best friends with imperfect love lives ask: can you shape someone into your perfect partner? How much will they change themselves for a Happy Ever After?

New Year's Eve: best friends Emma, Bea and Frankie set the intention that this time next year, they’ll all have what they want in life, and in love.

Bea, her Prince Charming. Frankie, her Prince or Princess Charmings plural. And Emma, a long-awaited ring on her finger from her long-term boyfriend and father to her child.

Each armed with a different strategy, and none of them strangers to a ‘project’, they embark on a life-changing year of finding their Happy Ever After – together.

But as their Perfect Partner Projects unfold (and unravel), they are forced to question why they’re so determined to fix other people, and ask what’s really broken in their lives. While lines blur between compromise and self-abandonment, what if they change so much, they lose what really matters – like their friendship?
