Oh lawd! If you need something with twists and turns read this book! I do feel it may if needed some triggers in it but wow!!!!!!!!!! I'm already a huge fan and this was fire.

I love Sarah's books and it came as no surprise to me that this one was also absolutely brilliant. Amber at the tender age of 15 agrees to a date with her mums friends son Peter who she has grown up with. Feeling increasingly uncomfortable as the date progresses Amber rejects his advances which Peter does not take well. Instead of respecting her wishes he becomes utterly obsessed with her but to what lengths will he go to make her his?
I loved this taut, unsettling, atmospheric psychological thriller and found it impossible to put down. If you give this book a go I highly suggest cancelling any plans you have as trust me once you've read that first page you'll be well and truly hooked.
If you are a fan of this genre pop this one on your to be read list-you most certainly won't be disappointed!

The way Sarah keeps the tension built up in this book is a work of art. Despite knowing the safe room might come back to bite her in the ass, it was so well written you damn near forget.
Also. Nothing hits better than sisterly relationships. This is my second book by this author. And at this point she has become an author that I will always automatically read and buy.

“The silent child” is one of my all time favorite books so I was thrilled to read Sarah Denzil’s new book. The premise was right up my alley and I was not disappointed! Peter has aggressively stalked Amber since she was 15 and we get a dual timeline between then and now.
I flew through this book in about a day as I couldn’t put it down. So much tension and anxiety as I waited to see how this escalated and what would ultimately happen. Great story!
