Description

CREAM is a filthy, funny, queer body-horror about desire, shame, streaming culture and becoming consumable.

After an X-rated stream of nineteen-year-old Zac goes viral, he becomes the unwilling star of Blue Shore’s dirtiest fantasies. Zac wants to dissolve into the lino of the holiday camp’s greasy spoon where he works. Instead, Zac’s manager transfers him to the ice cream kiosk on Blue Shore Bay where notorious streamer and bad-boy crush Jake is waiting behind the counter.

Jake’s taking a break from streaming to flog dodgy ice cream. Every flavour is spiked. Lime blasts you into space. Strawberry makes you horny. Coconut cream makes desire real. When Jake doesn’t treat Zac like everybody else does, Zac imagines the impossible: maybe Jake fancies him for real, and not because of the viral stream.

So Zac joins the hustle, selling cream to everybody who will buy it. Then something starts bubbling beneath his skin, a dead girl comes back to life, and Ryan Made, the streamer responsible for Zac’s infamy, returns with an agenda. Worst of all, Jake’s favourite ice cream flavour is running low, and Jake is deteriorating before Zac’s eyes.

To save the Jake he desires, Zac must uncover why the dead won’t stay dead and what Ryan Made really made him for before Blue Shore transforms him from fantasy lad to a hulking, grotesque cash cow.
