Description

This was a strong sequel in the Boston Bone series, it had that overall element that I had enjoyed from the first book and was able to continue the story in a way that worked and still had the charm of the first one. The plot was everything that I had hoped for in a historical mystery novel and had that tension that I was looking for with the daughter of a mobster vanishing and then an heiress is going missing so it really added to the tension. The characters were so well done and I was invested in what was happening and cared about what was going on with them. Jeff Tanner has a strong writing style and I hope to read more in this series and from the author.
