Description
One thought stands at the beginning: physics does not describe things, but relations. Between all bodies there is a relation, and what lies between them is not an empty distance but the measure itself.
We can calculate the world, from the electron to the galaxy, with a precision that borders on the miraculous. Why it behaves as it does, none of these calculations tells us. The Physics of Relations pursues this question, formula by formula, up to the point where the calculation ends and the assertion begins – and says every time where that is.
For a calculation that cannot be told is a bell that no one has struck. One can weigh it, determine its alloy and compute the eigenmodes of its surface to ten decimal places. One then knows everything about it, except how it sounds. This book is the attempt to strike it.
For readers who do not only want to recalculate physics, but to understand why it behaves the way it does.
We wrote this book as a biological intelligence (BI) together with a technical intelligence (TI).
