Description

Through this fictional biography she brings out the powerful and talented man Sebastian Bach was.

Johann Sebastian Bach was a German composer whose organist abilities were widely respected.

Born in Eisenach, in 1686, Sebastian came from a background of musicians. Following his parents’ death, he went to live with his older brother, also an organist. His career as a musician bloomed, despite some early setbacks.

Magdalena first met Sebastian at St. Katharine’s church. Her love of music resonated with what she heard.

Through her father, a year later, she got the opportunity to meet and sing for him. From this point, they were virtually inseparable.

It wasn’t long before they were married. Magdalena became a mother to his four children from his first marriage. Together they had another thirteen. Her devotion to Sebastian was to last a lifetime.

Through life, relocation, and the trials and tribulations of composing and playing music, Sebastian never lost his passion for music.
