Description

You went to bed at home, just like every other night.

You woke up in the back of a taxi, over 250 miles away.

You have no idea how you got there and no memory of the last ten hours.

You have no phone, no money; just a suicide note in your coat pocket, in your own writing.

You know you weren't planning to kill yourself.

Your family and friends think you are lying.

Someone knows exactly what happened to you.

You went to bed at home, just like every other night.

You woke up in the back of a taxi, over 250 miles away.

You have no idea how you got there and no memory of the last ten hours.

You have no phone...

As always Lucy Dawson books keep you guessing until the end when the story unravels brilliantly!!! A frazzled mother with a new born that won't sleep are the basis for the beginning of this great book - Sally is found unable to remember how she got where she is and why she left her beloved children - family rally round thinking she's on the edge but Sally know something more is happening . A great read highly recommended

Well this was a cracking read although I stayed up way too late reading it, and will have to read a different genre now I think as this was so good I don't want to read another book and compare it, I only read other genres in between my usual thrillers when I've just read such a good book.My only complaint and it is a small one is that I felt the book could have been a little shorter in places, but other readers may not agree with me.I will not give anything away but this book will keep you guessing to the very last page. Thanks to the publishers and Netgalley for an ARC in return for an honest review.
