Anna Wilk is a British-Polish writer living in Vancouver, Canada. Having lived in the UK, Poland, Germany, and Canada—and traveled to more than seventy countries—she draws inspiration from her family’s aviation history, her own struggle with disability, and from observing people and capturing the emotional truths––and flaws––that connect us. Her passion for writing grew from a successful career in brand storytelling and reading her father’s and grandfather’s memoirs.
How We Land is her debut novel, a contemporary story set on the Pacific Coast, written with heart and wit, about a strong, young woman––a glider pilot––who makes mistakes, navigates desire and discovers that heartbreak and healing can coexist, in most surprising ways.
