Emily and her husband live in the Colorado Front Range with their three young children. She grew up moving frequently, both across the United States and abroad; to Chile, Australia, and New Zealand. In the midst of building new friendships, Emily found that the Lord consistently met her in nature, using it as a place to offer peace and comfort, no matter the topography or climate. After seeing the wonder in her own children’s eyes as they have experienced the joys of nature, Emily sat down to write in hopes of encouraging more children to find adventure, dirty hands, and happy hearts.
