Julie Anderson is a writer and author. 'Plague' is her first mystery thriller, set in Westminster. She spent many years as a senior administrator in Whitehall and Westminster, including in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, the Inland Revenue and Treasury Solicitors. Her earlier publications include two adventure novels for young adults, Reconquista and The Silver Rings, the first of which was long listed for Mslexia Children's Book 2016 and a book of short stories. She is Chair of Trustees of Clapham Writers the organisation responsible for the annual Clapham Book Festival.. She curates literary events across London.
