Reading and writing is my passion, along with music, travel, walking, swimming or lying on the beach. Previously a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist, I now write novels from our off-the-grid home on a spectacular and remote island 1oo kilometers off the north coast of New Zealand—islands and marine conservation seem to feature in my novels—and often spend quality time in winter in the balmy tropical climates of Australia, especially where a coral reef is close by! John and I have four grown kids and five grandchildren, all of whom love books, reading and swimming (and ballet and camping in remote spots). I would love you to sign up to my occasional 'Off-Grid Newsletter' (http://www.jenniogden.com/newsletter.htm) where I write randomly about off-grid living, our travels, books and writing, and post reviews of current favorite books I have read.
