A Brief Guide to Better Understanding Ourselves, Our Interactions with Others, and the Major Issues Facing Society will be published on September 1, 2021. The book synthesizes and builds on insights of great moral and political philosophers including David Hume, Thomas Hobbes, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Immanuel Kant, and John Stuart Mill, using plain language to communicate moral concepts to the general reader. Societies are facing transformative social changes. A better future can be shaped by individual action. The book’s relevance lies in its ability to further our understanding of the nature of ethics and to help inspire an activist generation.
