The key to this book is that it outlines both the science and art of anxiety therapy. The science of overcoming anxiety is using the well-researched approach called Gradual Exposure Therapy, which involves helping individuals gradually face their fears. The art of therapy is figuring out how to actually convince someone to face their fears. Jed describes motivational techniques, cognitive behavioral strategies, exercises, relaxation, and mindfulness guides to lower anxiety to the point where individuals can begin to confront their fears.

Thank you for the advance copy in exchange for an honest review.
As someone that works with children in emotional support classrooms, this book gave advice that allows me to assist them better. I will definitely be utilizing the advice of the author when dealing with anxiety in autistic teens, as I encounter this a lot at work.

Thank you to Net Galley and Future Horizons for an e-ARC of this title in exchange for my honest review. I have anxiety, my daughter has anxiety as does my grandson...it's definitely something we know about. I felt this book was very helpful. There were many tips that were useful. Parents are given many tips, options and options on how to help your child. This condition can be difficult- today's world only compounds it. This book is a good option.
