Crystal Fix

A beautiful guide for taking use of crystals to the next level. I have been collecting crystals for years, and am only now realizing how much potential they have in my home and other personal spaces when utilized "properly." I appreciate the simple language of this author when explaining properities of crystals and energy work. The photos are lovely, and there's a ton of wonderful information here.

Right out of the gate this book is straightforward and crystal clear. There’s no fluff to this crystal talk, rather the modern approach is easy to understand and provides a good introduction to using crystals without a bunch of a hocus pocus.

It differs from many other crystal books in that it’s to the point and also a quick read while providing enough info to be truly helpful. I really like how the author addresses thoughtful purchasing and ethical mining of crystals.

Overall I think this gem will appeal to more of a mainstream audience and people just dipping their toes into the world of crystals. I especially appreciated the practical tips which make working with crystals accessible. The simple rituals and ideas that she offers do not involve purchasing tons of stuff which is always a plus. Very enjoyable.

The Crystal Fix is an amazing book. One of the best books on Crystals I've read. It's easy to follow and very informative. I loved the facts about using my crystals in skin care. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone like me who likes crystals and wants to learn about them.

This is a fascinating book about the use of crystals. It's written in an easy-to-understand style that is perfect for someone who wants to know more about the subject without the mumbo-jumbo that sometimes accompanies books with similar subjects. The book is well-researched and well written.

If you're into crystals, or really want to know anything about them in general, then this is the book for you. The author begins the book by talking about how their passion for crystals began, which was early in life with their mother at local markets. Four years ago, they decided to turn their passion into a business.

Each crystal looks different, and has a different energy. Some of them even have healing powers, as well as an energy field that actually can interact with your own. This book is very informative, talking about each individual one, the differences between crystals, rocks, gemstones and minerals, what their uses are, and what room they're best in.

This book is supposed to be used as a guide to introduce the mental, spiritual, and physical benefits there are to having crystals around you, and how to pick the perfect one for you specifically. I think that that's exactly what this book does. It doesn't read like a textbook, which is nice, and it's something that you can have on your shelf and easily flip through to the page you need when you're looking up crystals. Something else it teaches you, is how to cleanse and charge your crystals.

Overall, I'm not really into crystals, but this book kind of made me want to be, seeing all the pictures of the pretty ones. I'm not sure that they have the properties that the book claims, but I'm glad I read this book, and I'm definitely interested in picking up a couple just to have. Whether you're a pro or a newbie, I think this book could benefit you.

A fantastic, “now-age” guide, full of inspiriation on how to use crystals in the home. Crisp, beautiful photography and lots of wonderful ideas.

The Crystal Fix is a wonderful book on all things crystals - types, structure, colour, energetic vibration and use. It's the crystal guide that you needed and now you can have on your bookshelf or coffee table!

There's plenty of information on types of crystals and their properties, but presented in a concise and easy-to-apply way. There are no unnecessary details or page-fillers. It's simple, easy to read and implement, and will also remind you why you love crystals so much in the first place.

The book also offers guidance on how to create crystal grids, make crystal-infused elixirs with different crystals and also gives you an introduction to the Feng Shui of crystals - which crystals belong to which place in your lovely home.

I really enjoyed reading it and expanding my knowledge base. You also get a crystal directory with all the crystals mentioned in the book for easy access afterwards. And most importantly - it really gives a good overview of sourcing, buying crystals, cleansing and re-charging, plus a good insight into better understanding how they work and their energetic vibrations. You will absolutely learn what to use each crystal for.

This is the guide you need to everything crystal-related - where to find them, what to use them for and how to use them!

An easy and informative read, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Being a stone collector I am familiar with all but a few of the crystals presented, but learned many things about placement in the home to utilize their energies. The photography throughout is beautiful and the crystal reference section by categories of success, love, health, etc. makes this guide very useful.

This provided a guide for crystals in the home. It starts with the best crystals for certain rooms of the home then a guide explaining which crystals can be used for meditation, chakra balancing and how to use them.

This is good for novices who are starting to become more involved in Crystal usages.

I -loved- this book. It was well written, well researched, and best of all - easy to use! I'm pretty new to the whole using crystals thing, but this was amazing. There was so much information that I couldn't possibly take it all in (which in this case is a good thing!). I learned so much and I can't wait to dive into more on this subject. I would recommend this to anyone just getting into crystals or long time users! I figure you can never have to much literature on something you're passionate about. 5 out of 5 stars.

This book is great. It's full of useful and detailed information on crystals and how to use them.
The info is easy to find, clear and to the point. I especially liked the grids.

Was excited to read this book as knew nothing about crystals but was interested in knowing a little more.

I was amazed to learn their power and how the different crystals apply some that are beneficial for energy work and some of the larger crystals can have huge benefits in your home/office.

The book is written very well for a beginner like myself, is simple and straightforward in explaining about crystals and their benefits and the illustrations are amazing.

This book was absolutely gorgeous and informative. I'm definitely a beginner with crystals and this is the most informative and easy to follow book I have found. I will definitely be using it as a reference frequently!

This book is an excellent collection of the properties of crystals and ways to utilize them within daily life. I have a good amount of crystals sitting on my bookshelf. Ever since I received this book I have been using my crystals much more in my everyday life. This is mainly because instead of focusing on the metaphysical descriptions of crystals (like the majority of crystal books do), the author brought in ways to utilize crystals within everyday lie, she even goes on to describe how to use crystals in the feng shui of your home.

I really enjoyed the amount of research and care that went into the making of this book. From the beautiful images to the spot-on information I felt this book was a wonderful formulation of information and a great way to get into the world of crystal healing. The author also described her love for crystals as well, this tender and thoughtful care can be seen throughout the rest of the book. Descriptions of how certain crystals were used in ancient times were also included along with the typical metaphysical descriptions. I really enjoyed this and felt that it truly took the book full-circle from the ancient uses of crystals to their modern-day adoption into our everyday culture.

Overall, I felt that this was a wonderful formulation of crystal descriptions and uses. This is unique to any other crystal book that I have read and although it was information-heavy, I read the entire book from cover to cover. It kept me engaged and willing to adopt more information into my repertoire of crystal knowledge.

I would recommend this to: Anyone looking to get into the world of crystal healing or expand their knowledge of crystals

Oh my stars, this book. I am new to the world of crystals, though I have found myself drawn to them for many moons. When I found myself wanting to explore this world a bit deeper, I discovered that I didn't really know where to begin or how to start. Enter The Crystal Fix. The Crystal Fix was so beautifully written and photographed. While a bit of the information I already knew, I still found myself learning a lot! The book was a fun read that kept me captivated the entire time and definitely made me even more excited about my crystals. Not to mention, I found a few that I need to add to my shelf! There are also so many wonderful tips for decorating your home as well as ways to look after your crystals.

This is a must have for any crystal lover!

I'm definitely not someone who "believes" in crystals or their healing power but I've always been fascinated by people who do take them seriously. I also find them beautiful and calming pieces of earth art, which I guess does offer some healing properties! This was a well designed book, modern and sleek. It was also surprisingly informative. There is very little "woo" and whole lot of simply laid out information regarding the origin and uses of different crystals. If you wanted to start using crystals in your home as a way to alter its energy and use them in the "right" way, this is your book. For the rest of us, it's a cool look into a world where rocks can heal you. It was a pleasure to read.

A beautiful crystal book on how to incorporate your stones into your home. Delving into what crystals work well in what room, how to incorporate rituals and grids for specific home needs and blessings and how to make your crystals work for you with cleansing and programing tips. There's also a small section of stone description and properties to use as reference. This is not a definitive guide to crystals, but if your looking for an esthetically pleasing book that covers the bases and will look great next to your quartz cluster on your coffee table it's a perfect choice!

The Crystal Fix is a practical and informative guide to using crystals for the home and the soul, replete with gorgeous photography. I appreciated the way the crystals have been organised into categories — Joy and Success; Love and Relationships; Health and Wellness; Energy and Inspiration; Rest and Rejuvenation and Protection and Comfort — as well as comprehensive indexes.

All the “usuals” are here, such as rose quartz, clear quartz, amethyst, and fluorite, but they are accompanied by other stones which may not be as well-known, such as larimar, danburite, hemimorphite, vanadinite, and chlorite, amongst others. After a general introduction to crystal shapes, colours, structures, and so on, there is a “home tour” where different crystals are recommended for each room of the house, complete with suggestions for use and placement.

The bulk of the book is a guide to the crystals themselves; each two-page spread matches beautiful photography with a quick guide to each stone, its keywords and healing properties, along with suggestions for combining with other crystals and how you can use them in the home. I enjoyed the bullet-point list of healing properties for quick reference, and the use of keywords for each stone enable fast memorisation. Also included in the book are rituals, crystal grids, essences, meditations, massages, recipes, and tips for crystal selection and care.

Overall, this a beautiful guide to crystals which will delight novices and fans alike. Highly recommended!
