Jeremy Rock Smith - Executive Chef at Kripalu Center For Yoga And Health

“Reading Asha’s story will inspire anyone to make changes in their lives and the success they will have with her recipes will convince them that it is possible! Blissful Mouthful is everything I look for in a cookbook and even more so in a HEALTHY one. Each recipe is approachable, tasty, nutritious and easily reproduced at home by the individual wishing to make a positive change in their life through the healing powers of food.  There are two things that make food great, technique & LOVE and there is plenty of the latter in this book to fill your kitchen, your soul and the bellies of those you cherish! Enjoy!”

“I love this cookbook. The recipes are simple, yummy, lots of flavor and easy for me to make. I have already made at least 5 of the recipes. They don’t take me to long to make and that’s great for me! I’m also a vegetarian and this book gave me lots of new and yummy things to make. Enjoy!”

Simple and unique healthy recipes for a healthy lifestyle—by Carina Hansen

“This cookbook is very unique sharing an array of simple healthy recipes that I’ve not encountered in other cookbooks. The uniqueness of the book stretches beyond sharing recipes and tips on how to cook them. The author, Asha Paul, inspires the reader to eat healthy food by sharing her journey of learning how to cook and eat healthy food that had a impact on her health. Through her story, cooking tips and recipes, she encourages the reader to make healthy cooking and eating a lifestyle. She also sprinkles in interesting stories about Indian culture and provides entertaining information about the recipes. I am inspired and look forward to trying her recipes!”

Cooking made easy!—By Kathryn

“I love this cookbook, because it has recipes that are easy to prepare - with ingredients that are easy to find/familiar to me. Also a plus - the recipes are set up for cooking for a small household - so, you don't have to reconfigure recipes designed for large families. Includes practical tips on how to best utilize items, that can't easily be bought in smaller quantities (ex. kale). So, not only tasty recipes, but information to minimize food waste and thereby, stretch your dollar.”"

I read the book with interest, especially the historical bit, about how the author became a good cook and the tales that fill the book, along with recipes. I would say she is a good cook I have not had time to try out all the recipes, but I will use them, the ones that appeal, and the combination of ingredients look alright to me.

I enjoyed this book. I liked reading this ladies story and cant wait to try several of recipes I found in this CookBook.
You can tell say she is a good cook.
I have not had time to try many the recipes, but I will use them, the ones that appeal, and the combination of ingredients sound fruitful.
I found the personal touch about each specific dish and some interesting facts about it. Unique.

The Blissful Mouthful Cookbook has easy to follow recipes that taste great. It holds great information on the foundations of the authors lifestyle and how she came to share her food with the world. Even my 3 year old enjoyed some of the recipes and it was easy to incorporate his help into making the food.

There were some amazing recipes in this book especially to help with inflammation. I am starting on a vegetarian journey (still plexatarian) so always on the look out for user friendly books with recipes that I can adapt for my family but still meet my objectives.

The start of the book was very informative and set the scene which I really did appreciate.

I was given an advance copy by the publisher and netgalley but the review is entirely my own.

The Blissful Mouthful Cookbook Recipes for Your Youthful Life by Asha Paul

118 Pages
Publisher: BooksGoSocial
Release Date: November 10, 2020

Nonfiction, Cooking, Food, Wine, Health

The book is divided into the following sections.

Salads
Soups
Grains, Pasta, & Noodles
Vegetables
Beans

The author provides seven tenets of the Blissful Mouthful Way along with healthy recipes. In the salads section, I cannot wait to try the roasted onion salad and warm chickpea salad in the soups section, I just bought the ingredients for pressure cooking lentils. The recipe for aromatic quinoa in the grains section sounds delicious. Isabel’s cabbage is a kicked-up version of traditional buttered cabbage. She also gives cooking tips and techniques to help cooks prepare the recipes in the book. If you like cooking new recipes, this would be a good book to try.
