When Mac’s career and personal life are sabotaged, she discovers that the killer will do anything to throw her off his scent. No one will believe her unless she can reveal the killer’s true identity. Except for being set in the military in Washington state, the plot isn't original at all. Still, the characters are good and the book is OK entertainment.

This is an excellent start to this series.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and found myself second guessing every thought I had continuously.
Can't wait to read what the author brings out next.

A good military story. Who is kidnapping and killing women? Why do they look similar and why was Mac told to back off? During the story we learn Mac is fighting for her career as she is accused of being involved in the drug trade on base. Her mentor tells her to lay low. But she just can't stop researching. Her love interest gives her advise and some connections with the local police. A heart pounding ending! A shocking guilty person. Now that is what a call a fabulous ending!

Honestly, what a hidden gem.
Uniquely set amongst a military base backdrop, this serial killer thriller delivers on the shocks, twists and excitement.
A monster driven by madness and an extremely likable female lead make this tale highly readable.
I genuinely hope that we see more from this utterly talented author.
Highly recommended, especially for fans of Lisa Gardner.

This was a gripping read-
The characters were extremely developed and interesting, with unique personalities that made them generally feel very real.
All the characters were extremely well-written and I loved how strong and forward-going Mac was and I would have really liked to know more about Mac’s past.
The plot progressed really well and was interesting throughout without any times where it ‘lagged’.
The premise of the book was also very interesting and the author pulled it off extremely well. I’d definitely recommend this for a psychological military thriller.
Great read!

Sahar’s Creation, by Julie Bergman. All I can say is wow. This is a psychological thriller that would have any military member questioning should they keep a closer eye on their military brother and sisters. All the characters did an awesome job of keeping me entertained with all the exciting twist and turns the killer to me on in the book. Mac, Gavin and Joe were amazing.
I loved that the writer created Macs character to be a bad, you know what that knows how to take care of herself and others. She is definitely not a character whose afraid of kicking down doors, asking the hard and direct questions, as well as knowing how to use a gun. I would have like to see more hand to hand combat from Mac as she took on her prey. She has these special skills, I would love to had read about them. The book has a couple of flashbacks, which was great at explaining some things, but I thought on others it was glossed over.
Particularly about Sahara and the soldier realization with the gift. I felt something was left out, perhaps a little more explanation. The romance scenario was alright with Mac and Gavin. I don’t know if this took to much away from the stories plot on the killer. I thought holding the killers identity until the end was brilliant, even though I knew who he was by the third chapter.
I would have like to read more on how the killer tracked his prey in real time along with the killer attacking his prey. The first kill in the book was explained well. I like the that the narrative and the dialogue stayed focused to the story and kept confusion topics at bay. The military jargon was a lot, but the writer didn’t go into to much detail to were we civilians had no clue what the characters were saying. The book was a good read and I look forward to more from this character and her team.
Until next time my fellow readers… read on!
