"I won't say this is a fun read but an emotional roller coaster of highs and lows. This dealt with domestic violence, economic inequality, abuse of the system, and deep friendship. The bond these three women formed was one you want in your life. Something real and lifelong. The author was brilliant in telling her tale, and I was enticed and then overwhelmed to find out what path Priya was going to take. There were parts when I felt like I knew what was going to happen, and the author surprises you and takes you on a different path. I was emotionally invested and hope to read more by this author." - Amy Ferber

"Young Priya struggles with her desire to open her own restaurant and the need to support her younger sister. Will Priya have to resort to desperate measures to fulfill all her ambitions, and what will become of the people with whom those ambitions interact?" Virge B., Proofreader, Red Adept Editing

From the very first page, Her Perfect Lie takes you on a twisty journey that shows the power of family. Priya works tirelessly to help her sister Kavi reach her best potential. When Priya realizes that her sister is in a dangerous situation with a former lover, she immediately begins to work on a plan to help her sister stay safe and achieve her dreams. Set in India, this story shows the cultural dynamics that influence the lives of women such as Priya and Kavi. I enjoyed following Priya's journey and the twists and turns she encountered along the wa.y.

This is a well-written suspenseful story about Priya's efforts to protect her younger sister Kavi. I was expecting the usual twisty psychological thriller but there was more to this story and the setting in India highlighted cultural issues of male dominance and subservience of women.

Aside from the good writing, well developed characters, intense plot, and many shocking twists, this story shows a lot of Indian culture which I very much appreciated. A darn good thriller.
