It’s packed with professional advice, a selection of the best edible plants to grow and tips on getting the most from your space.

  • Fava beans
  • Tomatoes

  • Eggplants

Discover how best to feed, fertilize and fend off pests, to grow the healthiest and tastiest produce possible. There are also plenty of tips on getting the most from your space – you can do just as well with raised beds, kitchen gardens, and crops in pots. It’s perfect for both those with large green gardens, as well as city-dwellers with balconies, allotments and courtyards. Learn how to grow a wide variety of edible plants, anywhere you like!

I have always appreciated and enjoyed all the Bloom productions because they are so great for beginners and they are basic with such a beautiful natural vibe. Edible Garden is a dynamic introduction to growing edible plants. Throughout the photos, you don't see much plastic use in gardening which is wonderful and their pest remedy page is so user-friendly with such a fantastic steward to our environment suggestions.

Bloom the magazine has great photos and this book doesn't disappoint in the photo category neither does the text by Vicky Chown. Again such a wonderful vibe and such helpful information for the beginner gardener.

I would like to thank NetGalley and the publisher Bloom by Quarto Publishing for the opportunity to read and review Edible Garden by Vicky Chown.
