I highly enjoy books that have a Royal twist to them and I really enjoyed this one. I thought it was excellently written. I loved the different characters and was kept in suspense throughout the entire book. I was hooked from the very first page!

This is the kind of book you want to devour in one sitting, filled with swoon-worthy moments, family secrets, and plenty of high-society drama. If you love stories that mix romance with a dash of royal flair, this one’s for you!

Major 00's rom com feels. Once I got into this I couldn't escape, it was so good. It had all those iconic cliche moments from movies that I miss so much, but the conversations and banter was so much better and funny.
I mean maybe its similar to other plots of the same genre but idc, I ate this up. Loved the drama, the scandals, the romance that had me blushing like mad. Felt like a teenager watching all the chic flicks all over again. Plus I adore the royalty trope every damn time. Loved it 🤭

Cute. This has such 2000s rom com vibes. It's something I would've absolutely loved when I was younger, but I still enjoyed it now! I recommend if you want Mean Girls but with royalty and a bit of mystery.

This was such a fun read, and very well-written for the age group and genre. Katy Birchall captured the vibe of being a young, wealthy socialite in London so perfectly... the parties, the expensive boarding school, a trip to the Amalfi Coast. I'd honestly recommend this book to any young person who wants to get into reading.
The book follows Ruby, whose mother grew up one of London's wealthiest darlings, and moved to the country to raise her daughter. When she dies, Ruby is sent to live with her rich aunt, Tabatha, and to attend London's most prestigious boarding school... alongside the heir to the throne, Caroline. There, determined to work out the identity of her father, she infiltrates the so-called Elites in order to find out the truth... but doesn't expect to fall in love with one of them, too.
Being older, I did guess a few of the twists, but I don't think this took away from the experience of reading at all. Witty and sweet, I loved this book, and I really think it would make a great film - it has that early 2000s romcom vibe, which was fab! Really recommend, and can't thank the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to read an ARC enough.
