Thank you One More Chapter HC and NetGalley for the earc.

I absolutely loved The Last Raven so I was eager to read The Raven's Court. I was not left disappointed. I loved going back into this world, I love the characters, the writing style, everything about this novel had me hooked.
I started it yesterday and finished it today, I was that engrossed into the story.
Emelia developed so well in this novel, I felt she was strong and became more stern. Her character development for me was great I really felt she had grown from the first novel to the end of this novel. Without spoilers I loved how she showed towards the end that she wasn't to be messed with and I really feel like they've all under estimated her due to her being half human. I loved both Joaquin and Michael's characters, I loved how I always felt something more was underlying to both of them.
I loved the developments in the storyline, things I was expecting to happen and something that made my jaw drop! Still reeling from that but i see the next book (surely there's a next one after this ending) being more gritty.
I really love Helen Glynn Jones' writing style, the descriptions are lavish and really paint and image as I'm reading, I could picture everything in great detail from the wonderful descriptions given.
I could wax lyrical about this book all day but to some it up... Absolutely loved it.

This is the second book in The Ravens series. This was such a brilliant fantasy novel, it's the perfect book for cosy season. I couldn't put it down and read it in one sitting. I loved the author's writing style, they drew me in from the first page and I kept reading until the end as I wanted to know what happened. There was enough content and twists and turns that it had me interested and reading until the end. I loved the characters, they were believable and relatable, plus the pacing was just right. I'm already eager to see what the author does next. I highly recommend it.
💝 Thank you to Netgalley, One More Chapter and the author, Helen Glynn Jones for my arc ebook copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

I just finished The Raven’s Court, and honestly, it was such a satisfying follow-up to the first book. This one picks up right after where things left off, so if you enjoyed The Last Raven, you’ll probably slip right back into the story without missing a beat. The gothic vibe is still going strong, and I loved sinking into all the intrigue and moody atmosphere.

The politics and court drama feel even more intense in this second book. There’s a lot of behind-the-scenes maneuvering, secrets coming to light, and that sense that you can’t quite trust anyone. I liked how the story digs a bit deeper into the vampire world, showing more of the rules and consequences for breaking them. It made everything feel more layered and real.

The main characters have even more emotional depth this time around, and I liked seeing how their relationships and loyalties are tested. The romance is still there, but it doesn’t take over the story.if anything it adds just enough tension and heart to balance out the darker parts. There are a few moments where I wished some of the side characters got more page time, but the main plot moves along quickly and there’s never a dull moment.

If you’re into dark, romantic fantasy with court intrigue and complicated characters, I definitely recommend giving The Raven’s Court a read.

Court intrigue with the vampire families as betrayals, secrets, and power plays burn even hotter than when the story began - love sparks, dwindles, resurfaces - new romance may be on the horizon, but what is everyone's ultimate game? With everyone lying and holding secrets, does the truth even exist? Full of intrigue, emotion, loss, sizzle, and many gasping moments - the second installment is a strong build on the first (and yea, you should read that one first).

I was so excited for book 2 and this didn't disappoint.

This picks up where book 1 finished as it was easy to get back into it.

I can't give too much away with this review as I don't want to spoil anything but I had the most amazing time.

I love Emilia she's such a fun character, so strong and wants change things for the better for everyone, human and vampire alike.

I loved the character development in this book and cannot wait for book 3
