Description

Weight loss sucks!

Many people, health professionals included, focus on weight as the most important marker for health-but what if we've been lied to this entire time? What if focusing less on weight loss is actually the first step in getting healthier?

In Throw Away the Scale, Magdalena Chavez borrows from over a decade of experience as a physician assistant, discussing the fundamentals of a healthy lifestyle in terms of how they affect our mood, memory, sleep, and physical comfort-independent of weight loss. Join Chavez as she breaks down the science of true wellness, from the life-changing benefits of exercise to the way eating well can feel good, along with the secrets to unlocking your abundant reserve of natural feel-good chemicals.

Throw Away the Scale revolutionizes the way modern society views health and wellness, shifting the focus away from weight loss to what truly matters most: vitality.
