This was a cracking horror anthology by a great author that I will definitely be reading more of!

This book contains 18 short stories (10-20 pages) from all different horror genres. From body horror to gore, werewolves to mermaids and demonic appliances to death himself. This book has something for every horror fan.

My favourites were Canned Tuna, Squid's Ink and Heart Shaped Box but there weren't any that I didn't enjoy.

I don't want to say too much as I really liked that I went in blind to each story as it kept me guessing and feeling on edge. I'd just highly recommend picking it up if you're a fan of horror collections!

Thank you to NetGalley and Brigids Gate Press for the E-ARC! I really enjoyed it!

All’s Well That Ends Well is a collection of 18 short horror stories. Aliens, ghosts, werewolves, mermaids, scarecrows, the grim reaper and much more. There are even a couple of Halloween and Christmas tales. There is truly something for everyone. Some of the stories were gross and unnerving, and some were straight up heartbreaking. Almost all of the stories were enjoyable except one that just want my cup of tea. Definitely worth a read if you love horror!

My favorites were

Maternal Drive
Ragamuffin
Squid’s Ink

I was given this ARC by Brigids Gate Press through Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

All's Well That Ends Well by Vivian Kasley was received directly from the publisher and I chose to review it. I had never read this author before but I would again. All's Well that Ends Well is a collection of stories that immediately made me think of old pulp comics, such as Tales From the Crypt and the like. It contains 18 stories that are quick reads on their own and do not intermingle, i.e. each stories stands on its own. With Halloween fast approaching this is a great book if you are purchasing for yourself or someone who loves short stories or even comic books. The stories cover many aspects of horror with creatures, body horror, killer appliances and more, thats just what I thought of at this moment.

"All's Well That Ends Well" by Vivian Kasley is dark, unsettling, fast-paced, and grotesque short story collection!

My favorite stories included "Canned Tuna," "Heart Shaped Box," and "Squid's Ink."

"Canned Tuna" is about a man capturing a mermaid and forcing her to perform at children's birthday parties.

"Heart-Shaped Box" is about a girl who makes a deal with Death to save her father and faces the consequences of breaking the deal years later.

"Squid's Ink" is about a journalist who goes to a tattoo parlor to interview a famous, local tattoo artist. The interview starts out normal but leads to the journalist remembering one of the darkest nights of her life.

I enjoyed this short story collection a lot. I think it is a strong and intriguing collection. I can't wait to read more from Vivian Kasley.

Thank you, NetGalley, and Brigids Gate Press, LLC, for sending me a copy of this short story collection. It comes out 10/31/2025!🎃
