V answering advice column questions is the absolute best part of this book, followed very closely by a year’s worth of horoscopes by our favorite fallen angel!!

This book is a must read if you read and loved the series. Loved how interviews were done with certain characters and the novella at the end was the icing on the cake. After reading this book I will be rereading that series because I miss it and need to travel through it again.

I love the guide, A fun little bonus chapter and q&a for all our favorite characters! It's one that you're going to want to read as long time fans.

"If you're a long-time, OG BDB fan like me, this is just a fun read. I love these characters, and I loved the novella addition as well (no spoilers!). Fans of the series will love the extra tidbits that are shared, and I feel like they give you a great glimpse as to the next steps in the series. There are so many fun pieces in this book, especially the Interview ( I love how everyone's personality shines here!). Honestly, fans of the series will absolutely love this addition, both old-timers like myself and newcomers.

What a wonderful way to celebrate 20 years of Black Dagger Brotherhood! In this newest insider guides, we have it all. Fun interviews with the Brothers and all the fun kind of things you may find in a newspaper. From advice columns, to playlists, horoscopes, recipes, and book recs, we have it all. But the best part? The new novella surrounding Beth and Wrath called Happy Anniversary. If you are caught up with the series, then you have an inkling what this is about. We jump from past to present as Beth relives the anniversaries she was grieving Wrath. Thirty years is a lot of ground to cover. And while it’s wonderful they are reunited, reality is, it isn’t exactly easy. But we know these two. And there isn’t anything they won’t do for one another and the love between them is stronger than anything. So no matter what happens, they’ll figure it out. The novella was definitely my favorite part. We needed it after everything that has happened so far in the series. We needed to see their struggles and how they reconnect after losing so much. It was really satisfying after such heartbreaking scenes in previous books. We needed this! And it only made more excited for our future books. You definitely don’t want to miss this guide if you love the series. It’s everything you would expect to come from the Brothers and their many shenanigans and of course, JR Ward herself. Loved this! And as always, can’t wait to see what is next in this world.

I came late to the reading party of BDB but immediately fell in love with the brothers and their world of vampires, and binged right up to book 15, The chosen. Along the way I read the original Insider's guide, and immediately loved the extra content, and short story that was included: Father mine. 20 years in, and a new Insider's guide has been written, and is a must read for fans. Starting with updates from our favorite brothers, with the answer to one of the questions everyone who has read The beloved has been asking! The tidbits revealed that the next few books will be an emotional rollercoaster! Included are the hilarious Vishous’s Agony Aunt Column and Lassiter's horoscope. But what I loved most of all was the absolutely heart-wrenching story Happy Anniversary! With the jump in time at the end of Lassiter, and the new books centering on the children of the Brothers, we all wanted to know what happened in the past 30 years. Wrath and Beth are struggling to come to terms with time lost. and how their family has been torn apart. I can't wait for the next books coming in the series!
A definite read for fans, but you definitely have to be caught up in the series because there are definitely spoilers!

Back then, when I found the first book about Wrath, I was absolutely intrigued and hooked right from the start. After that, I waited impatiently for the next German translation because I didn't read in English.
Through the years, I stick to my tradition to wait for the German books, although I could have read the original ones.
Anyway. What does this have to do with a review about the 20th Anniversary Insider's Guide?

Well, it felt like coming home to one of my favourite families ever!
Meeting the brothers and their Shellans was wonderful! Sooo funny, emotional, and swoon-worthy!
I loved to get to know what's going on inside the head of J.R. Ward as well. 😊

This is my honest review in my own words.

I loved this so much! Insightful and heartwarming! I adored the amazing JR Ward sharing so many wonderful reflections and factoids about the history of this series and its development. I loved all the behind-the-scenes information, somehow making me fall further in love with the Black Dagger Brotherhood world. I loved the updates on the brothers and all the memories injected. I especially loved Beth and Wraths story and watching their chemistry explode as they reunite. This is a must for the all fans of the series!

Oh this was such a fun read! I discovered the BDB well after it first came out and can’t believe it had taken me so long to hear about it since it is now among my favorites! In this anniversary edition I loved reading V’s advice column and of course Lassiter’s horoscopes. Fritz’s Kitchen was nice addition and then of course the included novella! It’s a must have for every fan of this series!

I started on my journey in the BDB world earlier this year and I have not been disappointed with what I've read. I absolutely loved getting a little insight from J.R. Ward into her world. I absolutely loved every second of reading this Insider's Guide.

The fact she gave us advice columns where V answered peoples problems, Lassiter giving out horoscopes and recipes. I found myself laughing hard at many parts and being fully enthralled in the BDB world once again. Everyone's personality shines through in the different aspects of this book. The novella included in this is an emotional one so prepare all the tissues!

I cannot wait to see what comes next for J.R. Ward in this world!
