Description

New from Abby London comes a banter-filled, enemies-to-lovers billionaire romcom with some spice and lots of laughs.

I was unemployed, broken hearted, and broke, living off the generosity of my BFF. So when Knight Advertising offered me the job of a lifetime, I pushed my I’m-not-good-enough fears aside and jumped at the chance.

The only problem?

The too-hot, not-safe-for-work bosshole running the show.

Curtis Knight was not, as his name suggested, a knight in shining armor. He was more like the knight who wanted to skewer me with his jousting stick… and that wasn’t a euphemism, unfortunately. I managed to make a disastrous first impression by spilling my coffee and squashing my donut all over his expensive shirt. Have I mentioned I also copped an unexpected—but appreciated—feel of his firm pec?

Since then, he made my life hell. And I needed the money too badly to quit. Complicating matters, clients were abandoning the firm, and his father blamed Curtis. When management told me to spy on him or lose my job, I made my choice. Now he taunts me by criticizing my document margins and orders me to be online for 2:00 a.m. client meetings.

I needed to uncover what was going on before I either strangled him or fell for him. I wanted this to be over with ASAP because I’ve been down this road before, and falling for the bosshole would be a mistake I might never recover from.

Warning: Includes scenes of workplace seduction, accidental donut attacks, and a hero who looks way too good in a suit for everyone’s sanity.

This was such a fun and easy romcom read! I picked it up for the enemies-to-lovers trope and stayed for the banter, the chaos, and the accidental donut attack (I won't spoil the fun by elaborating!). From page one, the heroine felt super relatable—unemployed, insecure, running on caffeine and sheer determination—and Curtis Knight? Oh boy. Peak bosshole energy. Expensive suits, sharp tongue, and way too attractive for his own good.
The office tension was chef’s kiss. I loved the back-and-forth snark, the late-night meetings, and the way their dynamic slowly shifted from mutual annoyance to something much softer (and spicier). The spying plot added just enough angst to keep things interesting without killing the romcom vibes, and I genuinely laughed out loud more than once. The side details—like him obsessing over margins and her trying not to fall for her boss—made it feel playful and real.
Overall, this was a quick, sunny read with great pacing, lots of laughs, and a swoony billionaire who knows how to fill out a suit. If you like enemies-to-lovers, workplace romance, and romcoms that don’t take themselves too seriously, this one is definitely worth picking up. If you're looking a palate cleanser, this is definitely it!

This book was fabulous. It felt like when I find a new TV show I really like and all I think about all day is coming home to watch the next episode, except it was with this book!

Very lighthearted, great romance and good humour to make a very addictive, fun read.

A fun read, an enemies to lovers, workplace romance. She is supposed to spy on him but ends up helping him out. I liked how it was told from both points of view.

Donut Girl and the Bosshole by Abby London is a hilarious enemies-to-lovers billionaire romcom that had me laughing out loud from start to finish.
The sharp, flirtatious banter between these two characters turned every office clash into comedic gold, and I enjoyed how their verbal sparring escalated with sizzling undercurrents that kept the pages turning.
Faith’s snarky inner monologue perfectly captured her reluctant attraction, making the dynamic fresh and addictive.

The laugh-out-loud hijinks, from the absurd late night meetings, poked fun at corporate absurdities in the most entertaining way.
I loved the spy mission twist that added thrilling stakes without losing the lighthearted vibe, especially her broke girl survival antics amid the chaos. It was pure feel good escapism. Balancing slapstick humor with heartfelt vulnerability made every scene a delight.

The spicy slow burn sizzle built to explosive moments that ratcheted up the tension just right, with Curtis's redemption from bosshole to protective alpha melting away any cynicism.
I enjoyed how it explored heartbreak recovery through laughter and lust, delivering a hard won HEA that left me swooning and eager for more.
The blend of wit, heat, and heart made this a complete page turner.

i mean you step into a book wanting a certain something. and im more than happy to say it indeed gave me it all. that sparkle, wit and comic timing was all here in this book. those tense, a bit messy moments of romance and banters was also there. this was a book you smile along to and just feel good reading. those ones that you feel the corners of your lips rising along with and the twitches of your cynical heart twitching.
this book was your enemies to lover with Faith and Curtis. both sharp as anything meant their banters was fab. and of course everything you need from a book such as this. there is also those more deeper and thoughtful moments woven through which means you root for the characters and love even more so.
can her boss become something so much more? and should he?
Abby has a really clever and inviting way of writing and writing her characters. it draw you on, it flows, it light you up as you read.
this is a book where you know both your characters dont stand a chance against the joy and fizzles the other will bring to them. but the journey to get there brings smiles, angst and a wit.
a great read.

Donut Girl and the Bosshole is a fast paced romantic comedy about Faith, a woman who is already down on her luck when she lands a job working for Curtis Knight, a powerful and infuriatingly attractive boss who seems determined to make her life miserable. Between disastrous first impressions, office tension, and a job that comes with strings attached, the story builds into a classic enemies to lovers romance filled with sharp dialogue, emotional moments, and plenty of heat. I really enjoyed reading this because it made me laugh out loud while also giving me a heroine I could genuinely root for, and the chemistry between Faith and Curtis kept me turning pages long past bedtime.

I came for the donuts and stayed for the chaos. This book had me hooked from page one with Faith being broke, stressed, and accidentally smashing a donut into her boss’s expensive shirt, which honestly felt like a sign of greatness. Curtis is the kind of boss you love to hate and hate to love, and watching these two clash, flirt, and spiral into something way deeper was ridiculously entertaining. If you love workplace tension, snappy banter, steamy moments, and a heroine who refuses to shrink herself, you need this book in your life. I devoured it and immediately wanted more. 🍩🔥
