Description
Black community organizations were originally founded on a deeply rooted sense of collective identity. Yet in their present-day operations, individualism tends to dominate, resulting in a weakened social standing that also affects their members.
In response to this reality, the aim of this book is to offer concrete tools for helping restructure these organizations. The approach combines insights drawn from ancestral African heritage with contemporary knowledge, in order to identify the precise changes needed to improve the positioning of these organizations within society. These changes will affect the structure of the organization itself, the way it functions, and the nature of its interaction with its environment.
