Description

For high-achieving women who feel disconnected despite their success.

You've done everything right. Built the career, ticked the boxes, mastered the art of having it all. So why does it still feel like something is missing? Why do you feel so disconnected from yourself?

Awakening the Sleeping Queen reveals why external achievement can never fill an internal void — and shows you how to reclaim what was lost along the way.

Drawing on her own midlife transformation from pharmaceutical executive to psycho-spiritual coach, Nathalie Cordell uses the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale as an unexpected map for women's journey to wholeness. Weaving personal storytelling with depth psychology and spiritual wisdom, she guides you through the healing work of integration: befriending your anger, trusting your intuition, and reclaiming the parts of yourself you learned to hide.

This isn't another book about leaning in or the seven steps to success. It's an invitation to come home to yourself — not through strategy or framework, but through story and inner work.

Because fulfilment isn't waiting for you at the top of another ladder. It's waiting inside you.

For high-achieving women who feel disconnected despite their success.

You've done everything right. Built the career, ticked the boxes, mastered the art of having it all. So why does it still feel...

I was initially drawn to this book by the title and premise, as it suggested a powerful journey of self-discovery and transformation. There were moments where the themes of personal growth, healing, and reclaiming inner strength came through clearly, and I could see what the author was aiming to achieve.

However, I struggled to fully connect with the book. While some sections were insightful, I found the pacing uneven and at times the message felt repetitive. There were points where the ideas seemed to be revisited without adding much new depth, which made it harder to stay engaged throughout.

I think readers who are already interested in spiritual or self-development journeys may find more value in it than I did, particularly if they enjoy reflective and introspective writing. For me, though, I wanted a stronger sense of progression and a deeper exploration of some of the concepts that were introduced.

Overall, there were worthwhile ideas here, but it didn't resonate with me as strongly as I had hoped.
