The Devil’s Doll had me hooked from the first chapter. Vera’s life completely changes after she survives an assault and kills her attacker in self-defense, only to realize someone witnessed the entire thing. And unfortunately for her, that someone is Silas, a serial killer with his own very twisted sense of justice.

I really enjoyed the direction this story took. Vera and Silas are both morally black, and I think that’s what made their relationship so interesting. Neither of them is pretending to be something they aren’t, and watching their connection develop felt completely unhinged in the best way. Their chemistry and power dynamic were definitely a highlight for me, but I especially loved seeing Silas interact with Vera’s family. It added another layer to his character that I wasn’t expecting.

You can tell a lot of thought went into the characters and their individual arcs. Their motivations made sense for who they were, and I appreciated that the story didn’t try to soften either of them to make them easier to like. They’re dark, complicated, and sometimes downright questionable, but that’s exactly what I wanted from this book.

And yes, the spice is 🔥. If you’re looking for a dark romance with obsession, possessiveness, power dynamics, and plenty of heat, this definitely delivers.

If you’re a fan of dark, obsessive romances and morally questionable characters, especially the kind where the FMC is just as capable of stepping into the darkness as the MMC, I think you’ll have a lot of fun with this one.

I honestly enjoyed this more than I expected to, and Silas is definitely going to be living rent-free in my head for a while.

If you enjoy obsessive and possessive MMC Silas is that! This book was exactly what I needed and I cannot wait to read more from this author.

What a wild ride! This debut erotic novel from Misa June honestly shocked me. It was incredibly well balanced and I was surprised to find that the plot and spice was super well written. Sometimes you know exactly what will happen when you start reading a book and I definitely did not feel that way while reading “The Devils Doll”.

I highly recommend this trigger filled masterpiece to anyone who is looking for a wild and smutty ride!

This book felt like if you were to find someone who fulfilled your darkest desires. Silas and Vera are a perfect match and I loved their journey they went on! I love the growth of both of them through the book to be better for each other. Vera’s best friend was so supportive even with barely information and gave great advice to make Vera see Silas’ side. I also absolutely LOVE the micro trope of the boyfriend standing up to the mean family members. Perfect dark stalker romance if that is something you are looking for!

This read is a wild ride everyone should experience!! As a debut novel, I was both intrigued and invested from the beginning with these characters.
Silas is a man who knows what he wants and goes all in before you're even aware he's there. Helping Vera, sending her gifts and sneaking into her place are just a few simple signs showing he's interested in her. But when he is honest about his past, will she stay??
Vera is not your average independent woman. She has a darker taste that has been shamed by those who are aware, yet she likes what she likes. When random gifts appear and text messages, she's scared but wants more. Asking to see the man behind the mask, will she like what she sees?
This read just pulled me in!! And when you start to feel the chemistry between these two, you know this one will be hard to put down. I love the honesty that's present within the read and little Ms. Vera wasn't prepared for his type just yet. Even her best friend saw reason because why are you stressing me out!? #IYKYK The talk with the mom was priceless, and you best believe I loved the epilogue. I can not wait to see what else this author has for us in the future!!
