Description

A stubborn rancher and a delicious baker are just friends…

…Until a baby comes along!

Jett Radford and Noelle Hanson have been friends for years. Although Jett has always been secretly attracted to her, Noelle was strictly off limits. He would never date his best friend’s little sister. But when he’s grief-stricken after his father’s death, Jett turns to Noelle for comfort. They later agree that their one-night stand was a mistake, but it has consequences they can’t walk away from—because now Noelle is pregnant and needs a favor.

She’s got a high-profile wedding cake commission in the works and she’ll lose the contract if she’s seen as less than respectable. Would Jett agree to a fake engagement to get her through a tough spot? Jett agrees, knowing he can keep his emotions in check. As the oldest Radford brother, he’s always taken his responsibilities seriously, and knows his heart will not get involved. Turns out, though, Jett doesn’t know himself quite as well as he thought…

Being a fake fiancée is way harder than Noelle thought it would be. She’s always liked Jett, but now her feelings toward the handsome rancher are far more complicated. There’s nothing fake about their kisses or their wild attraction for one another, making this fiercely independent woman wonder what life with an alpha cowboy would be like. But can attraction be trusted when she’s not sure what’s true and what’s just part of the act? Maybe it’s time to end their fake engagement. Maybe it’s time for her to realize there was nothing real about their time together…

Sexy and steamy book, characters were great and the book had a nice fast pace flow to it

A sweet tale of the baker and the ranch owner who have known each other forever when a one night stand leads to an accidental pregnancy. To help them both in this traditional town they agree to pretend to be engaged. The question is will they keep pretending or will they figure out a way to be a happy family? A lovely tale of romance and friendship and the path to happiness.

I received an e-copy of this story for my honest review.
Ranchers, gotta love ‘em! They try to be so strong, take care of everything themselves, and hold things in. They’re so stubborn sometimes! When what they really need is the right woman to help them, not only for a different perspective on ranch troubles, but to also stay the course. *sigh* Ranchers, oh do we love them! lol
