You’ve got a coffee in front of you and 5, 10, 15 minutes to spare? What better time to acquire some language skills. Really liked the format and that the light-hearted tone leaves the usual dry textbook lingo aside.
With a variation of challenges from translations and recipes to anagrams and image descriptions, learning is never a dull repetition. The “solution” pages to the challenges not only give you the solution, but a detailed explanation - really helpful!
You won’t become a fluent Italian speaker just by reading this book, but as a refresher for existing knowledge it’s a fun way to set out whilst slurping your capuccino.

it's a good way to refresh a language you study but seldom used. It's well done and I tried it with my mother tongue.
Well done, highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

This has been great to help me brush up on my Italian. Throughout the book there are activities that will take you 5, 10 or 15 minutes to do, some more difficult than others. There are a variety of activities from vocabulary practice, reading tasks, grammar and writing tasks. You can start where ever you want Not necessarily At the beginning. There are activities about the weather, occupations, numbers etc. i found this beneficial and enjoyable. I’d say you’d need some Knowledge of Italian or be able to read Italian to get the most out of this book.
