Description
It all started as a warm friendship that eventually ended in marriage. But once we signed on those dotted lines, I was trapped, and nothing on earth could have prepared me for the turmoil ahead.
He turned out to be an abuser who thrived on control and subjection, creating a dark wanton aura in the home that I now understand was Domestic Violence.
I had a choice to make... stay and die, or get out...
This book is a non-chronological narrative that recounts the horrors of domestic violence/abuse and its adverse effects on children over and above the primary receiver: the partner. It proffers solutions on both how to cope when found in such situations, and how to eventually make a safe exit for the sake of the wellbeing of the children- SILENT WATCHERS.
Advance Praise
This book will inspire, teach you and help you protect yourself and your children. It will bring you to tears but at the end you will learn a lot. Am sad that this happened but am glad that one mother stood up and left to protect her defenseless.
